What I mainly do is invest, because before I buy a financial asset I learn about it and I buy it for its properties, not because I think it will go up or down in the next few months. If I end up buying it is because I believe that the long-term trend will be upwards but short term swings do not matter to me. In the case of bitcoin , however, with the expected price increase I plan to make some sales, or trades if you prefer.

With long-term trading as your choice, it is a very smart choice. The profits you get can be very maximum and I would suggest you buy Bitcoin and save it for the next 20 years, and see the results, what percentage of profit you will get.

I started as a daily trader, my first trade was great (guess beginners luck). I was actually a Spot trader then and was actually making some good profit from it till I became more greedy , wanted to make more so I decided to go into future trading with half-size knowledge ( that was one of the great mistakes I made back then) . As usual first trade was nice , but as time goes on I became one with liquidation, due to poor using of leverages that always trigger my liquidation so early ( what greed can lead to). After countless losses decided to stop , I put my trading to hold even till now I haven't gotten that zeal to trade, But still gathering some knowledge about trading.

But now am more into holding, all I just have to do is take my time make some research, ones I see what holding I will just buy and hold in my noncustodial wallet. Like now am holding Bitcoin with some other coins, and lately that are all doing great , that anytime I check my portfolio it always put smile on my face.

I think I am more of an investing guy because it suits my level life. I am not in a hurry. I have plenty of time to take a decision, to search for information, make research and etc. Trading is different. Decisions must be takes almost instantly. While I like to make things slow. In addition, if something goes wrong, I can blame only myself for making bad research. I have slightly more control over situation.

They say that a short-term trader earns more profit than a long-term holder because trading is quick and you can make a trade in a matter of minutes or maybe hours and earn maybe 5% to 10% profit whereas for long-term, you might have to wait for years to finally get 3x or something of your initial investment.

Trading indeed complicated and something that you would really be needing up that proper learning of those skills before you would really be finding yourself that effective into this market.
Somehow not all people would really be having the patience on holding up for long term and this is why they would really be opting for them to deal up with trading.
Yes, its hard but doesnt mean that it would be something that will really be that impossible. It all matters on how someone would really be able to have that kind of risks management
and on how they would really be tending to deal up with things on which we know that this is something that wont be easy.

      -     For me, I do the same thing because I can't do trading activity if I don't invest in crypto. Right? and when I have bought crypto, it depends on me whether I will hold half of what I bought long-term and the remaining half I will trade.

That's the way I've been doing it for a long time, where I get small earnings daily while I have a hold for long-term; in short, we can do them at the same time.

It depends on how we termed it and the way we are doing it, that differentiate them from each other, trading is going shorts in most cases while investment is going long, but at the end, we can conclude that every form of investment either Short or long is to make profits, then we may have to choose in between the one that we feels is the best for us and engage in it, after which we would have understand the risk in it a d how to avoid such.

Have been trying my best to see how I can suit in for the both, but I think is very hard to compared with rather I chose making investment and let it gradually gives me what I want for long term projection than doing trading. Since it requires lots of technicalities and staying up-to-date with coin/token we are trading on.
Although I understand that who are that professional can actually handle/combined the two things, but its very stressful most one can't find to study around here as well. So, definitely one must leave one for another.

Trading is not rewarding for everyone. Some people will trade and continue to lose. As gambling is worse for some people also trading is not that different. Trading risk is very high and can be highly dangerous to someone's financial life.

Do not believe that. Holding is like passive income and not as risky as trading. Holders will not regret that they are not a trader but some traders are regretting that they supposed not to have been trading but holding instead. Some people make money from trading but not as many as those that make money from holding.
