Title: Tether Use on Tron Passes Ethereum as Low Fees Attract Small Transactions.
Post by: Malam90 on January 21, 2021, 02:01:22 AM
Tron USDT volume eclipses Ethereum for the third consecutive week.
The number of tether transactions on the Tron blockchain have passed Ethereum’s count for three consecutive weeks as fees on the number two blockchain remain high.

Total weekly tether (USDT, -0.01%) transactions on Ethereum have held steady at around 1.5 million for the past four weeks. But on Tron, transactions per week have grown from roughly 900,000 in mid December to nearly 2 million the second week in January, per Coin Metrics data.

This recent trend is “primarily because of fees,” said Coin Metrics analyst Nate Maddrey in a message to CoinDesk. Source (https://www.coindesk.com/tron-ethereum-tether-transaction-count-volume-data)

This article is very true and I have experienced the move of USDT from trc20 to Binance to my friend's Binance account.
I tried to withdraw USDT coins using the trc20 blockchain to a friend's Binance account and found that the fee was 0.
I sent 10 USDT and it is very useful for my friends who often trade USDT x BTC with little capital.

The fact is that today I also notice contradictory actions in my work, since I use USDT on the Tron platform, thanks to which I do not pay any commissions, but at the same time I am an active investor in Ethereum and the state of affairs with erc20 makes me a little upset.

It is true that TRON uses every transaction in a cheap, easy and simple way, so this is the latest breakthrough to fight the advancement of Ethereum technology.
I also often see like Hollywood artists making tweets on social media to continue to support TRON with hashtags free of fees for every USDT transaction using the TRC20 blockchain.
