What is Eth2?
Eth2 refers to a set of interconnected upgrades that will make Ethereum more scalable, more secure, and more sustainable. These upgrades are being built by multiple teams from across the Ethereum ecosystem.

To bring Ethereum into the mainstream and serve all of humanity, we have to make Ethereum more scalable, secure, and sustainable.

Eth2 is not a migration or a single thing. It describes a set of upgrades being worked on to unlock Ethereum's true potential. This is how they all fit together.
Even though Eth 2.0 is not yet around, the purpose and vision portrait the substance that could change the migration of projects to BSC back to Eth. We don't yet see the true potential as what the upgrade describes. So all of the current Eth performance isn't the true potential.
Then it is possible that Eth 2.0 could be a game changer. What do you think?

Ethereum 2.0 technology can change the Ethereum platform a lot, because the thing that is already bothering us the most about Ethereum is the extra transactions on the Etherium platformbfee. Due to this extra transaction being ree many people are now moving towards Binans platform.So if Ethereum 2.0 technology doesn't come on the market yet, Ethereum could lose its popularity.

I don't think ETH2.0 will be the game changer. The game will continue like this until ETH2.0 is released and Ethereum will continue to be the number 1 altcoin, while Ethereum will also be the most loved blockchain in crypto community.
If you want to say that ETH2.0 will take Bitcoin's place, I think this is the mission impossible :)

We can see how the price of Etheeum increases so significantly. However, we also can see that the transaction fee is also increasing so damn high. I don't know what will happen to the fee after Ethereum 2.0 is implemented fully. Will it influence to the transaction fee?

I believe that the Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm is the goal of Ethereum developers and thanks to Ethereum 2.0, the team is trying to achieve their goals. The fact is that this update only improves the network, making it more efficient and safer, without any damage to decentralization. Also, keep in mind that the team has planned a process to burn a portion of the transaction reward, making Ethereum a deflationary asset. I suppose everyone understands what this means for ETH in the cryptocurrency market.

The transition of projects to BSC is only a temporary phenomenon and I think that after the launch of eth-2.0, many will return back to the Ethereum blockchain.
It will depend on the preference of users. It will be up to them if they want to go back to Ethereum and completely leave BSC. It is obvious that people are already enjoying the cheap fees that BSC offers. As far as I can tell, they will be okay using both blockchains assuming Ethereum can match or surpas 5 gwei (current gas price on BSC).

ETH 2.0 will certainly have a huge impact, but I don't think users and #DevelopmentTeam s will stop using BSC or Tron to go back to Ethereum. They could use ETH 2.0 as a crossover or complementary chain, but it would be a huge waste of time and resources to use just ETH 2.0. when they are already using another chain.

in any case, Ethereum will remain the leader in the cryptocurrency market, but the transition to pos, update 2.0, will strengthen its position several times. Changing the rules of the game is only possible if NET 2.0 is more scalable, accessible, and integrated than BSC. My opinion is that this is really done for such professionals, but it will be very difficult to achieve such popularity as the developers have achieved Binance Smart Chain.

ETH 2.0 will offer many new features that users and developers can take advantage of, but considering the advanced development of BSC, I think Ethereum has it really tough. BSC is growing by leaps and bounds and we must remember that it is backed by the largest exchange in the world, so it will be very difficult to overcome.

Though the full potential of Ethereum seems not yet reveal. BSC will remain as the main thing for now. I guess there will have competition of blockchain after Eth 2.0 and the winner would be the most hottest and friendly user. Tough for both potential and popular coin.

By using Smart Chain binance, all developers place themselves at a certain risk, since the basis of cryptocurrencies is decentralization, which Smart Chain binance cannot provide.

I don't think Ethereum 2.0 has reached a successful stage but Ethereum 2.0 has given good news to the Ethereum coin.
We can already see the effect in various cryptocurrency markets and it turns out that the price has gone up for 1 Ethereum around 3,000 USD.
This very expensive Ethereum value proves that without Ethereum 2.0 it is also very worth investing in and has changed the game.

With the time they are spending on developing ETH 2.0, I don't think they will release it anytime soon. That means (among other things) that for as long as it takes to go to market, many other projects that will get a high market rate will be welcome and that could make the adoption of ETH 2.0 slower and in fewer users and projects.

I can honestly say yes because it will save us from these exorbitant and ridiculous gas fees. There are some would say that Cardano will topple Ethereum in the future. For me, it’s possible as long they haven’t launch ETH 2.0. Once it’s launched, there’s no way BNB, Cardano and other cryptocurrencies could surpass ETH in the 2nd spot of the entire crypto market.

This means that much less energy will be spent on ethereum production, by about 95 percent. Amid the current bitcoin mining scandal, this information could very well help to boost ethereum's popularity. The Ethereum 2.0 update is very helpful in this regard. Because of this, ethereum may even surpass Bitcoin in terms of capitalization and price dominance.

When products are updated, #DevelopmentTeam s are supposed to improve them. Actually, we still know little about ETH 2.0, so I think it is necessary to wait for the hard fork to definitively solve the problems of Ethereum's high transaction fees, since I think that is what worries the community the most at this time. Then we will have time to study ETH 2.0 and learn about its qualities.

That's true, I think all projects will come back to Ethereum 2.0 again, after Ethereum 2.0 launch completely.
For now several projects have migrated to BSC because ERC20 gas fee is so high.
It's just temporary, they will be back to Ethereum platform.

Ok yeah I always heard end of 2021 or beginning of 2022 for switch to PoS. Sharding and state execution which they dub as ETH 2.0 is indeed not expected before 2022. There is a lot of potential for improvement in the future.

I also think it's too early to know how things will change when it is finally released. If the latest news is true (and it seems that it is) until the end of 2022 we will not see anything solid in terms of development, everything said so far could change at any time. I think the most logical thing to do is to improve Ethereum (with the next hard fork that will definitely solve the problems of high transaction fees) and we will see what happens to ETH 2.0 when its launch time comes.

Agree with you mate. All of our opinion and ideas toward Eth 2.0 are all invalid until the official launch day. So far good to share our own opinions to what would be the possible scenarios to come. Hopefully we are right in our perspective to solve some major issues.

Well, I see several projects have migrated to BSC because ERC20 gas fee is so high.
But I see several investors and projects still believe Eth 2.0 will solve the gas fee problem.
If eth 2.0 can solve this problem, I think several BSC projects will go back to ERC20.
I think we should wait until July this year

You're right, but it's not just about increasing the number of transactions per second. Although it actually has many improvements, we could say that the main 3 are low power consumption (PoS), security throughout the network, and as you say an increase in the number of transactions per second, raising the amount to 1,000. But I am sure that there are still many more things and features that we still do not know about.

If we look at the lists of upcoming ICOs, IEOs and others for many months we can see a very significant drop in the use of ERC, BSC is the chain most used today to launch new projects. For some whales, the price of transaction costs is not a problem, but for the vast majority of users it is, and it is a serious problem. Ethereum will continue to lose users and projects as long as these problems are not resolved, users do not want to lose money, and project teams do not want to lose investors or time.

I am not sure that the ETH2.0 is a game changer because at this time the ETH fee is very high and so many projects now go to TRX and to BNB which is not good for the ETH. The new projects choose the BNB or the TRX because of their low fee and fast transactions.

This increase in transaction speed in Ethereum is real, but the high transaction fees make some people a little disappointed. Although I'm not really sure there will be a cost reduction, I still hope it will. Because even though there are now many new blockchains, Ethereum is still the favorite.

As a matter of facts, there has been various complain of high gas fees on the Ethereum network, unfortunately this situation has lead to many investors leaving the Ethereum Blockchain network to other Blockchains like BSC, Solana, polygon, Tron etc. I think we all need the Ethereum 2.0 to address the lingering issues.

I agree with you, but I also believe that until Ethereum 2.0 is fully functional, no project that is on BSC (or any other chain) will go back to Ethereum. I think that for that to happen, version 2.0 would have to offer unique features, and even then it would not be a security considering the scalability that almost every chain in the industry has available. It will be used for interoperability, but I don't think the projects will migrate 100%.
