which day is celebrated as Bitcoin Pizza day in the cryptocurrency world?
-
May 22. Timezone would be UTC I guess.

On May 22, 2010, when bitcoin was a little over a year old, he bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC. The day is now known as “Bitcoin Pizza Day.” With one bitcoin now worth $9,500, this is apparently a joke and Hanyecz's $45 million pizzas are the punchline. 8)

No one has seen Laszlo for years. Where is he now lol? Because of the day, he will never forget his mistake.

I have no idea where he is or what he does now and I'm not interested in finding out. I wouldn't call it a mistake when the value per BTC isn't that much. Back then, they were using/promoting bitcoin as a currency and what better way to achieve that than buying stuffs including pizza.

Let's put it on the calendar.
