Beyond Protocol
Overview
Beyond Protocol was started by Silicon Valley-based technologists in January 2018 to harness the explosive power of merging distributed ledger technology and IoT. Beyond Protocol eliminates hacks and facilitates machine-to-machine value transfer.
With security as a given, Beyond Protocol allows us to feel comfortable opening up our devices for collaboration. Using them like threads of yarn, the dreamers among us can weave together inventions we would have not thought to conceive.
From the smart phone -- a camera, a touch screen, GPS, an internet connection -- applications were built which revolutionized entire industries (e.g. Uber and Instagram). From Beyond Protocol, mega applications can be engineered on top of any combination of IoT devices: from smart pills to satellites. Imagine a Nest smoke alarm paying a drone to put out a fire, and the drone making micropayments to weather towers along the way to determine the best route. Beyond Protocol sets out to be the ethical language of machines.
After over a year of R&D, in early 2019, the Beyond Protocol team put forth the first iterations of its novel technology to a handful of partners. The technology allows its partners, with one line of code, to i. enable secure message brokering between devices through hardware signatures ii. equip devices with a cryptocurrency-based payment gateway. At present, there are no out-of-box solutions for either capability.
Beyond seeks to build real, practical solutions for device security and payments from consumers to devices, and soon, among an economy of devices. Beyond envisions a future where good triumphs over evil and technology can work to create an exponentially more safe and more beautiful world.

A: To fund our project, and to seed our cryptocurrency, Beyond will sell its tokens from time to time ahead of a public listing. To date, Beyond has sold 4.96% of its token supply to project backers and allocated 6.07% to advisers. Beyond last sold its tokens in a private sale with a market capitalization of $100,000,000.00.

With just some limited readings I made on Beyond Protocol, I can already sense a very huge potential of this project which has the ambitious dream of making a remarkable impact on IoT. I went to this thread because I had a similar question. I have seen quite a few accounts that use this project's avatar and signature advertising this project with a link to this thread only.

Could you tell us where this token is traded? I ask you because yesterday I read something similar in a Telegram group but no one provided more information, so far I have not found anything about it and it is rare because there are users who claim that it can be bought and sold publicly and others say that it is not possible. I guess it won't be possible yet, but I'm not sure.

You are absolutely right @sirty143, I just went through the available docs and forgot the part where it said that the tokens will not be available until TGE, so it is still not possible to trade or anything. What I found strange is that no admin said otherwise when people were talking about token trading and pricing.

Probably, that's the way of Beyond Protocol. They are seemingly perfect working behind the scene while developing super project with real use case in due time.

Right, the team has confirmed that the TGE won't be until September, so any token with a name or ticker similar to Beyond Protocol is a scam. Be especially careful with Telegram, where many scammers open DM saying they are Beyond Protocol administrators to scam people. The exact date and time of the TGE launch will appear on the project's official website and on its social media.

On September 4th, at a Beyond Protocol-themed mansion, we will unveil Connected Athlete. Rob Gronkowski and other professional athletes will have their biometric data recorded by wearables during a workout in a on-site human performance lab; the data will be analyzed against the athletes' prior 24 hour intake log and trigger a just in-time order for optimal nutrition using DoorDash. This will represent the first time the blockchain has been used to secure PHI (Patient Health Information) to support a sports medicine use case. Steve Aoki, a celebrity DJ and blockchain advocate, will DJ the event in an on-premises night club. Gronkowski and Aoki are Beyond Protocol token holders and partners.

'Straight away the market is there for Beyond Protocol. The only question for iot consumers is which security system to choose. Plenty of systems will claim to be the best and offer a range of song and dance routines but when it comes down to it only Beyond protocol will follow through with the best security in iot blockchain.

I am not following Beyond project development, I am surprised to know this. I guess Beyond won't make a product like this one, a great hardware wallet. Anyway, it is good news to see that Beyond continues to have real progress. I am optimistic that more investors to buy Beyond token if it continues to show cool development like this one.

Very good news from Beyond Protocol. Beyond Protocol's technology selected to power European Union Commission green initiative. Alongside partners, Beyond Protocol has deployed an eBike solar powered station in Slovenia, with a systems architecture built from blockchain technology. What happened was not a hack itself, it was a phishing attack, and the team has already taken some legal steps to fix the problem, bringing BP back to its previous price is something that will be regulated by the market as development proceeds. The price of BP continues to rise, you can look at the market to see it, although as you say, the market has influence on all projects.
BP will be available in Huobi for sure since Huobi has invested in the project, the date is not yet known, but if it is not during this month it will probably be in January.

Since December 17, #BP is available on the MEXC exchange, the first available pair (there may be more pairs available in the future) will be BEYONDPROTOCOL/USDT.
And a little update on Uniswap from December 18:
In a weekend update video, Beyond Protocol Co-Founder and CEO announces the plan to remove liquidity from Uniswap and the listing of $BP on the top centralized exchanges by volume in the short term. He discusses the strong growth of Beyond Protocol’s trade volume since TGE — up 700 percent in under three months and references the upcoming release of several major technical milestones.
Any participant in the Beyond Protocol-Uniswap liquidity incentive pool whose contribution might not have matured by the liquidity removal date, will receive rewards with next month's distribution as if the contribution was mature. All rewards will be prorated to the removal date.
Which means that all users who have provided liquidity on Uniswap will receive the same tokens even if the deadline has not been met.
