Ethereum Forum / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum? (Discussion)
« on: October 02, 2018, 11:07:08 AM »
Bitcoin is the mainstream choice with the highest market capitalization and undeniably, the most popular one. It is essentially digital money and the future of how payment should be made.

Ethereum is a blockchain platform that has smart contracts that can be built on top of it.

These two is a very different platform. But which do you think will be more valuable in the future? Bitcoin or Ethereum?
Bitcoin is mother Of Cryptocurrency.Bitcoin Price very high And All Time Pump And Dump This Coin Price. Some Token Or Coin Price up and Down System very Slowly. But Bitcoin Price Instant up and Down. Most Of the People believe Bitcoin Future World Currency.

Second Popular currency Name Ethereum.Ethereum Use Blockchain Technology. Now Most Of the investors buy Ethereum. Ethereum Price Middle of Cryptocurrency.Ethereum Transaction fee Low.

Sorting Box / New Altcoin
« on: August 14, 2018, 07:42:51 AM »
Hi everyone, I am working on a zcash altcoin as a college project and I am running into issues while trying to mine the first block. I have mined the genesis block and got two nodes connected to each other, but once the connection is found it does not start mining any blocks. For some reason it shows that is attempting to download ~2147483640 blocks and since none of the blocks are being downloaded it I am stuck in a loop where I cannot mine. I have ensured that all zcash seeds have been removed from the code. Any help would be much appreciated.

Bitcoin Forum / A challenge from bitcoin in 2018
« on: August 10, 2018, 07:09:18 PM »
This year the price of bitcoin has dropped for a long time, and don't know how long bitcoin will be like this. I think this is a year of challenge from bitcoin, those who are strong will stay here and the weak will leave, this will be an option to determine the future.

Bitcoin Forum / Thoughts on node count for a decentralized network
« on: August 10, 2018, 07:07:18 PM »
The innovation in Bitcoin is decentralized consensus. Because of this, we are able to have a decentralized network that transfers value. I believe we all agree that a good number of full nodes (whether that be owned by miners or by users) are needed to keep the decentralized nature of this network.

However, there are plethora of disagreements on how much is needed to keep this network decentralized. In my opinion, we should aim high in order to keep the network decentralized and thus should do all we can to make it easier for anyone to have full nodes. If the cost of running a full node is so cheap and so fast, SPVs wouldn't even be needed; this removes the need for many things such as the inefficient (and not working) Bloom filters. The thing that stops individuals from running full nodes is how long it takes for the initial synchronization process. To conclude, imo, cost of full nodes should be so cheap that every wallet would be a full node that has its own full copy of the blockchain (you could prune if storage is the problem).

If we don't aim to have as much full nodes as possible, that means that there is a "good enough". Where would this "good enough" be and what are the reasons you came to this conclusion?

Any thoughts are very welcome and appreciated.

Moneycontrol News

A poll conducted by Gallup and Wells Fargo revealed that nearly three-quarters of the US investors think that bitcoin is a "very risky" investment.

The week-long study which surveyed nearly 2,000 adults in the country who have invested either in retirement savings account or through any other account unveiled that only two percent currently own bitcoin, while more than 70 percent "have no interest in ever buying bitcoin."

Cryptocurrency discussions / My small advice about crypto market
« on: August 09, 2018, 03:29:56 PM »
Many people are still hesitant between trade and hold. In my opinion, Investment is different from speculation is that you spend time and knowledge for it. When you trust and understand, you will not be afraid of the volatility of the market. It's an investor or a HOLDER. It's very good, but I think you get to know the market, trade, the cycle of market so you can be an investor, a smart holder.
"Don’t be a blind bull. ALL markets are cyclical. Don’t be afraid of pullbacks or market crashes – that’s where you can make the most money"

Bitcoin Forum / What is the nature of bitcoin?
« on: August 03, 2018, 06:46:38 PM »
Many people still don't understand why BTC is valuable, or why it costs more than $9, 000. The most incomprehensible thing is the "one-dollar villa", as the coinage often calls it.

If you can't understand BTC "value behind", is that you will never be a long-held BTC, even buy some BTC, also just speculation traveler, get on the car out of the car, had a scary every day. I did not fully understand the essence of value until the last month, and understood the value of BTC!

I was a slow, hot investor, relatively rational, until the BTC went up to $6,000 to see the value of BTC. But since then, I became a staunch digital currency "value" investors, the creator of the "digital wealth" and the warden, confidence has never been so strong again on the road, to the future of the digital era of wealth.

Important information on claims submission:

If several claims have been filed for the same url, we will process those claims on a case by case basis, under the presumption that the claim we received first belongs to the legitimate balance holder.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Europe Wants To Know Who You Are?
« on: August 01, 2018, 04:35:21 PM »
Everyone hear the news, seems in Europe the so called powers that be want to put more regulation
for anyone who uses an exchange there to trade etc, they want to know who you are and when you are using the exchange for transactions in crypto.
so much for using the block chain and having a hidden ID in a transaction
must be a tactic to tax everyone in crypto?

anyone else read this? thoughts? its on cointelegraph.

something we dont want but who knows
