These statistics serve as a serious eye-opener as investing in cryptocurrencies are looking far more viable than just playing lotteries. The only thing that will discourage people is the long term nature of these investment. However, even if I decide to face cryptocurrency investment squarely, it is highly unlikely that I will ignore the Gexan lottery platform which also has it's roots in blockchain technology.

It is really nice seeing projects that leverage on the strengths of blockchain technology in order to offer us a fair, transparent and decentralized lottery system. However, none catches my attention more than Gexan.

The fact that Gexan is leaving 85%of the company's revenue to the winning pot is something that is really impressive

I agree completely with you. I recently discovered them and I'm very much at home with all their optiobs. Currently on IEO, I wish them success in the fundraising.

Seems you Like know your fair share about Gexan so I will like to believe you already know how the team intends to foster 100% transparency by publicly displaying the smart contracts in order to allow participants monitor the fairness of draws.

I have registered my account and I just need to get some GEX in order to try out the platform.

I have seen a lot about Lotteree over the past few days that actually convinced me to take a closer look at the project. A major feature that did impress me is the fact that I do not need to pay a participation fee to actually enter the lottery. Another platform that succeeded in pulling me in was Gexan. Gexan offers users up to 85% of the revenue generated from ticket sales.

Dreampot token going to the moon! Buy dreampot token and get free spins on lottery!

With all I have been seeing about dreampot lately, I think I might want to take a closer look at the project. However, there is no denying the fact that Gexans move to make smart contracts visible for verification by participants is pretty impressive.

Seeing platforms seeking to leverage on the decentralized nature of blockchain technology is always music to my hears. This is ushering us into a time when lottery players do not need to worry about the managers of the ecosystem ripping them off as everything is set out in smart contracts.

You also need look at Gexan which offers users as much as 85% of the generated revenue from ticket sales.

There is no arguing the fact that Monero still does set the pace when it comes to conversations about privacy coins and that is sure to remain the same in the near future. However, seeing Veil introducing better all round anonymity and privacy is something to really push the project into our thoughts.

As many of us are in the cryptosphere to make some profits, it's good to know that Veil offers me the opportunity to do just that by staking Veil in order to earn passive income.

You wrote. "You get awards in the veil project anonymously. This means that no one knows how much you will win or when you will win. Even if you leave your wallet open, you can take advantage." And how often does a rally take place? Once a week, month, year?

If by "rally", you mean stake dividends. I believe that occurs biweekly

This seems like one of the very few Veil threads that offer adequate details about the project. The "always on" privacy feature seems like a really interesting proposition. This totally eliminates the chance of you mistakenly sending funds which could be viewed by the general public.

The fact that "we" (Tbossmitche being includes for being an ardent supporter 8)) got to this level of relevance without holding a traditional ICO is also something to be applauded.

How Does Monero Improve Privacy?

Monero alleviates privacy concerns using the concepts of ring signatures and stealth addresses.

Ring signatures enable a sending participant to conceal his identity from other participants in a group. Ring signatures are anonymous digital signatures from one member of the group, but they don’t reveal which member signed the transaction.

To generate a ring signature, the monero platform uses a combination of a sender’s account keys and clubs it with public keys on the blockchain, which makes it unique as well as private. This enables the ability to hide the identity of the sender, as it is computationally impossible to ascertain which of the group members' keys was used to produce the complex signature.

Yes, Monero was definitely one of the pioneers in the field of privacy coins. However, we have to admit that there have been several improvements since Monero came through.

One of those is a platform that introduces "always on privacy". This means you don't have to worry about accidentally revealing your identity because the platform has been programmed to always keep your transactions private. This project goes by the name Veil.

Considering the fact that privacy is a key feature of blockchain technology, it is sad to note that this particular feature is being pushed back by several people due the atrocities that could be committed if complete anonymity is is established. However, we cannot deny the fact that these fears are not well founded because many of those fears still materialize in full view of the public.

I do not agree with play store trying to limit privacy and anonymity as this is due in large part to the fact that they monetize our data. Personally, I will go with the option of having full anonymity and privacy in all my actions and Veil offers a good starting point by keeping my transactions private.

Privacy issues should not be something that any blockchain related service should be have issues effecting. This policy by Google will definitely limit privacy and anonymity in the long run on available applications in the long run.

It's also sad to note that promising projects like Veil who have vowed not to compromise on privacy and anonymity in any way might not have the privilege of listing their mobile application on the Google play store.

Cryptocurrencies have rightly earned the praise of some people due to it offering us an alternative means of value exchange. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that all transactions within the cryptosphere have taken out the influence of third parties like banks. Wіth the blосkсhаіn distributed ledger technology, users саn mаkе thоuѕаndѕ оf trаnѕасtіоnѕ uѕіng cryptocurrency аnd each оf those аrе rесоrdеd gеnеrаllу оn thе blосkсhаіn fоr аll participating parties to ѕее аnd аррrоvе. This lеd to thе truе trаnѕраrеnt nаturе оf thе blосkсhаіn and is a mаjоr ԛuаlіtу thаt uplifted the truѕt thаt mоѕt users рlасеd in it. Thе trаnѕасtіоn rесоrdѕ in іtѕеlf wеrе buіlt tо be immutable which mаdе іt impossible fоr any раrtу tо аltеr it without thе gеnеrаl реrmіѕѕіоn оf all thе nоdеѕ involved.

Despite the degree of the success experienced by the blockchain technology as a whole, the absolute transparency of transactions is starting to become a shortcoming for some individuals as this feature doesn't suit the needs of everyone. None moreso than big enterprises who effect several transactions and hold sensitive data which they will like to keep from prying eyes. This major shortcoming has led to the development of some blockchain networks which are aimed at putting anonymity and privacy of all transactions before any other thing. Today, I bring to your attention, one that actually stood out in my opinion.

Veil Project
Thе Vеіl рlаtfоrm іѕ a dесеntrаlіzеd platform that рrоvіdеѕ оnе оf thе mоѕt dеmаndеd quality for blосkсhаіn users whісh is knоwn as рrіvасу. Veil focuses mainly on іmрrоvіng the already existing anonymous blockchain components like Mоnеrо аnd others. The соrе fосuѕ of thе technological uрgrаdе wіll соmе frоm Zеrосоіn, a рrіvасу focused blосkсhаіn network wіth limited ability to provide juѕt the right amount оf рrіvасу bу a раrtісulаr user аt times. Veil rectifies thіѕ lіmіtаtіоn bу рrоvіdіng full privacy blосkсhаіn ѕеrvісеѕ that wіll suit the nееdѕ of the users wіthоut rеѕtrісtіоnѕ. All I've been able to do is offer an insight into the offerings of Veil. It would be a good idea if you could share your findings about the project with me after checking out the [Official Website](https:/ /veil-project .com/)

General Discussion / How do you define privacy on blockchain
« on: April 13, 2019, 09:41:28 PM »
We hear the word "privacy" within the cryptosphere as often as the sun shines but have we ever stopped to ask ourselves how private our dealings actually are?

If you stop for a moment to consider how all your transactions can be viewed by just about anyone who knows your wallet address and how you have to part with sensitive information to enjoy all features in most cryptocurrency exchange platforms, you will have to agree with me that our privacy is not as the forces behind blockchain technology make it seem.

This shortcoming in particular has led to the creation of a project that puts privacy before any other thing. The project goes by the name "Veil". The Veil project is aimed at creating a blockchain with full privacy and security rights. It gives the benefit of anonymity with levels greater than what other projects have to offer. The team involved in the project consist of the block chain developer press tab, leading the technical #DevelopmentTeam , highly capable and experienced developers and expert cryptographers. In order to achieve the mission and goal of pushing the boundaries of cryptographic privacy protocols, there is an establishment of a research lab called “VEIL Labs”.

I would like you to take out time to see what the project really entails as I have barely scratched the surface. [Official Website](https:// veil-project.com/)

I believe everyone who very familiar with the cryptosphere and has had dealings with Bitcoin in the past few years must have come across the "Blockchain wallet". This wallet appeared to be the new dawn of privacy until recently. I did log into my wallet and found out that a verification tab has been incorporated. This verification is required if I intend to use the wallet for swapping different cryptocurrency types among several other advanced features. This begs the question, "if the blockchain wallet is asking for confidential information, then what is left of privacy within the cryptosphere?".

Considering the fact that the thought of making anonymous transactions played a key role in me deciding to make make moves into the cryptosphere, it is really sad that we are loosing this key feature as each day passes.

However, I can say with all enthusiasm that there is good news as I recently came across a startup whose main goal is restore this key ethos of blockchain technology. Another interesting part is that this project did not hold a traditional ICO but I can confirm that there is a working product already. This project goes by the name "Veil".

I am sure I haven't done enough justice to the offerings of Veil, that is why I will encourage you to have a look at the Official Website (https:// veil-project .com)
