Basic Attention Token (BAT) / KYC for BAT Withdrawal and Deposit on Brave
« on: September 13, 2019, 03:09:47 PM »
In case you are not aware yet, Brave has required users earning BAT thru the browser and withdraws them to an external wallet. Likewise, those who will deposit  BAT to their wallet on Brave exceeding $600 will have to go through verification.

KYC will be processed by Uphold Exchange. You can find more details at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032158891-What-is-KYC-

If you are one of the many users who doesn't like KYC and still watches ads to earn BAT, you may want to stop that.

I'm not sure I am getting you. Is this an online game with a separate forum for gamers? or simply a chatbox?

What are these points for? Can players exchange it for crypto?

Forum related / Re: No signature campaign anymore
« on: September 12, 2019, 05:45:14 PM »
I think the obvious reason is because of altcoins bear market, nobody want to lose in this current situation hence, no interest on signature bounty campaigns. Initially we have projects that were paying bounties with project coins plus ETH or BTC but things has changed especially from 2018.
I think you are missing the OP's point. He/she is asking why campaigns are only for social media, article, translation, but no signature unlike the bounties that were launched here before.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Would it be okey?

It looks like someone can't wait anymore to sell their earned tokens. Maybe you should wait until the bitcoin halving and see what happens.
Let us not forget that this is an open market and nobody can completely delay or fast track the price movement.

Your topic does not belong to Altcoins Discussions but on Forum Related Board.

I have noticed that as well. I don't know if it was allowed by admin but I can see moderators saying it's been verified. From my previous understanding of the bounty rules, all campaigns must have a signature campaign here before they get accepted. It looks like things have changed.

I am not sure what the rules were before but don't you need to actually post to get points?
Yes, you earn points thru posting.
For topics started = 3 points
For replies to a thread = 1 point (usually) but admin can upgrade it to 3 points if it's constructive

If you create a topic that is only one post. Would it not be better to create a topic and constatly reply to it? That would help you rank up very quickly while actually participating in the forum and in your topics.

Ideally, yes it is better to respond to replies in your own thread. Not only you are gaining points and activities, you also get to interact well with other members. But from what I observe and what I experience so far, some thread starters do not respond at all for some reason. In my case, I usually respond to questions and points that I have not raised in my original post. Often times, comments are just repetitive.

Bugs & Tech support / Re: Bounty manager can't add the hashtags
« on: September 08, 2019, 01:46:33 PM »
I tried editing one of my own threads and here are what I found out so far:

- The use of hashtag (#) is only limited to three letters one per post or comment regardless of the no. of letters (edited). Maybe it's one of the anti-spam feature here.
- The use of cashtag ($) on the other hand has no limit in characters.

I tried using hashtag for BasicAttentionToken but it didn't save but there's no problem when using cashtag

Can you link us to the partnership between Triviata and Verasity? I am yet to see an announcement from them. I wasn't aware that they are also into trivia stuff.

2020 bitcoin will happen halving, many people think that the price of Bitcoin will rise very expensive after Halving, the reason being that the results of mining will be very little earned,
Yes, the decrease in mining rewards is one of the possible reason that will boost bitcoin's price. Less reward = Less bitcoin to dump.

Quote
but if we look at Litecoin which has been halving a few weeks ago the price didn't even go up.
I'm afraid this will also happen to BTC,
Don't compare the two. Litecoin is not Bitcoin.
Litecoin is not capable of moving the entire market like what bitcoin does.
Litecoin is still an alt that depends on bitcoin's movement.

Good job for the SEC for stepping. This is the area in crypto where regulation is really needed. Businessmen cannot just use the popularity of crypto by creating a (security) token and selling it to investors, but not register it properly with the authorities.

Stable Coins Forum / Re: Libra gamechanger
« on: September 04, 2019, 06:23:28 AM »
When you have so many institutional backers, it will be a shame if you don't become the next "big thing" in crypto. Some people are saying that it is some kind of a bitcoin killer but I don't know about that. Maybe a killer of some industries like remittance & payment is more appropriate.

I also find it interesting how this Libra and Gram will compete.

Anyone has opened the MintDice on browsers with built in adblockers or extension? It doesn't seem to run well.

@MintDice Can you comment on my previous question?
Have you tested your platform on websites browsers with adblockers?

Can you guarantee the win of people who will bet using your platform? If not, will there be a refund if a bet loses?
Can you also share the percentage you take in case a bet wins?
