Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Altcoins profit
« on: August 23, 2019, 09:05:16 PM »
Which altcoin is best for profits?
As which coin i need to invest in it.
Nobody knows which altcoins you will best profit from because it depends on a lot of factors.

I suggest that you start asking the right questions instead of that one.
- What materials should I read or watch so I can have a better understanding of bitcoin and altcoins trading or investing?
- What are the things I should look into when choosing for altcoins to invest?

Altcoins becam somewhat popular because of bitcoin and because of the bull market. It's also the reason why I don't agree with you that most people are investing in them now. After the bullrun, many people got rekt from bagholding altcoins that never really recovered.

I read this blog- https://www.coinspeaker.com/altcoin-analysis-2017-2019/
Next time you post some questions, do not direct forum readers to another website and gain traffic just to get answers. it's better if you post some contents in your original post.

Forum related / Re: That forum is gender division place.
« on: August 22, 2019, 11:31:59 AM »
Well, some of us have been raising that gender issue in crypto a few years back. I also don't know why but I guess some women just feel better when they see more women in forums like this one. I think there is even a group called Women in Blockchain.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is Nightmare market out of work?
« on: August 17, 2019, 09:26:40 AM »
I do not know how famous this Nightmare market is, this is my first time reading about it. I think it is also the first time being mentioned in this forum. How about you (OP) creating a proper thread explaining what this Darknet Market Nightmare?

Thanks for notice this group but do you have any proof ?
For example : Website fraud or Screenshot
I'm afraid the OP is restricted from posting outside links due to less activity.

Forum related / Re: gambling signature campaigns
« on: August 17, 2019, 08:37:20 AM »
I would also like to see those signature campaigns that pays in bitcoin or even in eth (since this is Altcoinstalks) here. But for that to happen, I think there needs to be more traction in this forums' gambling section. There's not much activity over there right now so they may have thought that their banners and ANNs are good for now.

This topic belongs to the Forum Related board by the way.

This news sounded good initially but reading more of the bill, I still find bad for cryptocurrencies. It is like allowing some shoe manufacturing company to operate but not allowing them to sell those shoes inside the country. Iran just wanted to have additional sources of funds which are the taxes coming from these miners. Nothing more.

It is funny now that what crypto is fighting in the early days has now become the "savior" of crypto for mass adoption.

This is quite complicated but I agree to this statement
Quote
“I get why the FATF wants to do this. But applying bank regulations to this industry could drive more people to conduct person-to-person transactions, which would result in less transparency for law enforcement.”

The increasing regulations may actually help cryptocurrencies become what it was intended to be (peer-to-peer). No fiat or centralized exchanges involved. Just two people using crypto as their medium of exchange.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The altcoins are fallen
« on: August 15, 2019, 08:42:56 PM »
Just look at what is happening with bitcoin's price and you'll already have an idea why altcoins are falling now (bitcoin down = altcoin down). Some news saying a ponzi scheme has been selling a lot of btc and causing the dump of all crypto.

With Bitcoin rising to new 2019 highs and possible embarking on its next bull run, altcoins have been bleeding out and capitulating and crypto investors dump their declining altcoin holdings in fear of missing out on Bitcoin bull run gains.
In this case, it is bitcoin falling that's dragging the altcoins.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Market has down Again! Whats happening?
« on: August 15, 2019, 08:34:29 PM »
There are a lot of news spreading around that says a scam project that has collected a lot of funds before is now exit scamming which is causing the huge  dump. https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/cqnikd/alleged_bitcoin_ponzi_scheme_plus_token_could_be/

I am not that worried since we have seen this happen multiple time already. It will bounce back in a couple of weeks imo.

Binance / Re: Binance KYC leaked
« on: August 10, 2019, 11:07:27 AM »
It is another unfortunate event for the users. This is clearly an extortion case also since the alleged data leaked happened early last year. Good job for the Binance PR team for keeping it under the radar though.

You have not provided any proof that the Auriga mobile app is indeed malicious but I agree that the investment model is scammy. When you see the lines "Capital Back  After 7 DAYS   After 30 DAYS   After 90 DAYS", better stay away. One bitconnect is enough.

Appreciate the warning though.

Can you also put a warning besides the website and download link like "do not click"?

Forum related / NEWS SECTION
« on: August 10, 2019, 10:16:07 AM »
I got used to reading cryptocurrency news in this forum's news section without having to open any link. It looks like some posters have gotten a bit lazy and just post few words and then a link. I'm not also sure if that was really intended to drive traffic to their site (and be monetized).

There is no specific rule to post the entire content but at least give readers more idea or a summary what it's all about
Quote
1- Post about stuff in the news
2- Put a link to original article if possible

Some Example:

A tax bill aimed at refining the Internal Revenue Service’s treatment of cryptocurrencies has moved to the U.S. House of Representatives Ways & Means Committee
https://www.cryptoinformers.info/news/10294-crypto-bill-amendment-introduced-in-the-us-house-of-representatives

I with all these threats against Facebook and all the allegations, do you think Facebook Libra will be success?

See what British MP said here: https://www.cryptoinformers.info/news/201-british-mp-expresses-worry-want-to-probe-facebooks-libra

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Whales Nature
« on: August 09, 2019, 10:13:05 AM »
Wrap your head around the idea that the market will always be influenced and moved by some big holders but this is not necessarily a problem. Take the opportunity to make profits from the market movement whatever the reason is. Stop thinking that people who has the capacity of moving the market (manipulate in your own word) are evil and greedy.
