Latar Belakang: Penurunan market cryptocurrency dengan drastis.
Tujuan: Mengetahui penyebab terjadinya penurunan pasar crypto di tahun ini.

Di tahun 2018, Market Cryptocurrency mengalami kemerosotan yang signifikan. Harga-harga koin menurun pesat di beberapa bulan terakhir ini. Banyak spekulasi yang berpendapat tentang penyebab terjadinya hal ini. Oleh sebab itu saya mencoba merangkung faktor-faktor apa saja yang menjadi penyebab menurunnya market crypto dengan data dari beberapa sumber. Agar ini bisa menjadi acuan kita semua dan tidak berasumsi tanpa alasan yang jelas. Berikut beberapa faktor pentingnya:

1. Pemerintah China melarang semua situs web yang menawarkan layanan perdagangan cryptocurrency, dan mempertimbangkan penutupan semua exchange lokal di sana.
2. Google melarang iklan Cryptocurrency.
3. Pemerintah Korea Selatan membuat aturan baru yang mewajibkan semua trader (pedagang) untuk proses identifikasi dengan nama asli mereka, dan mengecek kesesuaian rincian wallet mereka dengan info pada bank lokal.
4. Penjualan dengan metode obral besar-besaran.
5. Spekulasi kerugian pada pasar Crypto.
6. Adanya perubahan regulasi pada pasar Crypto.
7. Peningkatan kasus peretasan, kehilangan koin, dan menurunnya kepercayaan para investor.
8. Penolakan proposal ETF oleh SEC AS yang mengakibatkan penurunan grafik harga Cryptocurrency.

I have experienced to analyze and observe for many postings (comments and topics) that are made by many members on our forum. I can say that there is a good progress or improvement of their postings. Then, I realize something about this, that there are many of our members still not active in applying the Karma, especially for + Karma (positive). I don't know about the reasons but maybe some of them feel afraid to give Karma or they don't care about the Karma. Do you think this happen because of the lack awareness of members? Or this is normal and don't think to be discussed?

Satoshi Nakamoto is still a mystery. The pseudonymous founder of bitcoin, Nakamoto appeared in 2008 when he published a whitepaper that described how his proposed digital currency would work. While he was active in the online community around bitcoin for the first couple of years of the currency’s life, he posted less and less, making his last ever post on 12 December 2010. Since then, a lot of people have been accused by others of being the real identity behind Nakamoto. But till now, we never know who is he exactly. I have some big questions related this story.
1. Will someday we find out the true identity of Satoshi?
2. What are the real reasons behind his disappearance? Is it just about security?

Bitcoin News & Updates / Bitcoin Price Takes a $200 Tumble After Eight-Day Highs

Having dropped back from eight-day highs hit this morning, bitcoin (BTC) price could be in for a bout of consolidation before further upside unfolds.

The cryptocurrency rose to $6,596 earlier today on Bitfinex – the highest level since Sep. 6 – adding credence to the short-term bullish reversal signaled by the symmetrical triangle breakout earlier this week.

However, despite the strengthening bullish case, BTC quickly lost around $200 soon before press time. As if writing, BTC is changing hands at $6,450, having printed an intraday low of $6,355 a few minutes ago.

While the sudden price pullback could force investors to question the sustainability of the corrective rally, the short-term technical charts continue to show that the path of least resistance is on the higher side.

BTC's retreat from the highs near $6,600 is likely associated with the bearish divergence of the relative strength index seen in the hourly chart.

Indeed, the RSI has adopted a bearish bias, but it is premature to call an end of the technical recovery, as the major moving averages (MAs) – 50-hour, 100-hour, and 200-hour – are still trending north in favor of the bulls

More importantly, the key MAs are capping the downside at press time. This leaves scope intact for a recovery to resistance at $6,800 (multiple daily highs).

On the daily chart, BTC closed (as per UTC) above the 10-day MA yesterday, neutralizing the bearish view put forward by the rising wedge breakdown on Sept. 5.

However, the short-term MA is still sloping downwards. This, coupled with the bearish RSI divergence on the hourly chart could keep the cryptocurrency range-bound for the next 24 hours or so.

It's worth noting that technical recovery usually gathers speed after the short-term MAs bottom out – unless, of course, there is a major positive fundamental news.

~BTC has retreated from eight-day highs, but the technical recovery is still intact.
~The cryptocurrency could consolidate around $6,400 in the next few hours before resuming the journey towards $6,800.
~A UTC close below the trendline connecting the June low and Aug. 11 low would put the focus back on the rising wedge breakdown witnessed earlier this month and could yield a drop below $6,000 (February low).

1. Exchange Sentralisasi atau Terpusat (Centralized) atau (CCE)

Exchange Sentralisasi adalah platform perdagangan yang berfungsi seperti pasar saham tradisional. CCE dimiliki dan dioperasikan oleh perusahaan yang memegang kendali penuh atas semua transaksi. Pengguna CCE tidak memiliki akses "private key" dari akun wallet exchange mereka. Pengguna benar-benar mempercayakan semuanya pada operator exchange, sebab transaksi hanya dapat dilakukan melalui mekanisme yang tersedia dan disetujui oleh otoritas pusat.

Dengan cara ini, DEX tidak menyimpan uang simpanan, alamat, atau informasi pelanggan, dan hanya berfungsi sebagai jaringan pencocok dan routing untuk pesanan perdagangan.

Ethereum News & Updates / Ethereum Falls 10.10% In Selloff

Investing.com - Ethereum was trading at $181.32 by 21:54 (01:54 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Wednesday, down 10.10% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since September 5.

The move downwards pushed Ethereum's market cap down to $18.65B, or 9.73% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum's market cap was $135.58B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $181.30 to $186.57 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a drop in value, as it lost 35.92%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $1.54B or 13.71% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $177.29 to $234.49 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 87.26% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Bitcoin was last at $6,268.0 on the Investing.com Index, down 1.50% on the day.

XRP was trading at $0.25851 on the Investing.com Index, a loss of 5.92%.

Bitcoin's market cap was last at $109.02B or 56.90% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP's market cap totaled $10.48B or 5.47% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
