If you leave your coins in an exchange and the exchange of your account gets hacked, sorry mate  your funds are lost and there is nothing you can do about it. The SAFU funds that we hear about are all digits and not real funds, because there is no prove. This is why it is useless to keep your idle funds in an exchange. It is get lost, you are on your own, because how will you see them and hold them responsible for the lost of your funds. Those exchanges are business people and are only concerned about themselves and don't give a shit about you, but your funds.

We can all easily recognize this, but many traders want to experience the emotions of losing/profiting in the crypto market, expecting that the emotions from them will be stronger and have a greater impact on them in the market. I think it's also quite funny that they are willing to use their capital to buy experience while the Demo account provides it completely free of charge if they are really serious about each decision when using the Demo account.

I understand and agree that a demo account can be very useful in gaining experience and practicing the knowledge and strategies that you have prepared, but for some reason, I think it doesn't give the same feeling when you are trading with a demo account when you compare it with real trading, maybe it's because deep down we know that whether a trade we are making becomes successful or not, we have nothing to lose since it's free money.

Regardless, keeping the feel aside, one can obviously learn the ways using the demo account, they can learn how they can use indicators and other technical stuff when trading, and how they can read charts and base their trade accordingly.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: What makes a country powerful.
« Last post by 0t3p0t on Today at 10:04:41 AM »
What do you think that makes a country powerful? Is it the country 's military or her economy or her currency.

Neither!
Its people!
They are running the economy, serving in the army, and strengthening the currency!
Everything else is just a result of the population decision, you will not have a healthy economy with a lazy and corrupt population, you will not have a great army with a country of cowards and you for sure won't have a currency that is better than toilet paper with those either.
And before anyone says something about the ones ruling their country, they are too the reflection of what the population wants.
I agree with you. The people and their mindset is what will make a country powerful. Just like you said, they will be the ones in various places like the military and the other ministries that will build a strong economy and powerful government. Lazy and corrupt people will end up making a country very weak in all aspects.
Most of the time people and the government plays an important role in achieving  a greater economic growth but if we are talking about corruption things will be different as we can see it will always bring chaos to the economic stability.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ordinals and inscriptions

Well then, we've had the same story for a while now. I think this is a fad that will pass, but if there are people who are stupid enough to pay a lot of money to insert rubbish images in the mempool, that's up to them. It pisses us off when the fees go up but it will piss them off even more when they realise that everything they've spent is worthless (unless someone hits the lottery, so to speak). It sounds to me that there was a similar fad before this that eventually died out.
I will say that we are now getting used to the mempool congestion due to garbage using bitcoin blockchain, and that sucks a lot. The reason is that transaction fees become higher, and it discourages people who wants to make small transactions. This is where the layer two becomes helpful for people who knows how to create channels on LN. The high transaction fee discourages me from selling my bitcoin, and helps me hodli, because I will prefer to wait till when the fee is low before I make any transaction.
Yeah same here sad to say we are lgoing to forcefully forget smaller transactions behind due to the fact that fees are way much higher compared to paying a pack of candy which is less than a dollar. 😅 But I am still hopeful for something like an upgrade or improvements to make Bitcoin transactions great again in the near future.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Impact of Halving on Bitcoin Mining
« Last post by Litzki1990 on Today at 09:56:48 AM »
Bitcoin halving certainly has a considerable impact on the activities of investors and miners. However, when the price of bitcoin is halved, usually miners are more focused on mining bitcoins because they are never willing to sell bitcoins at a lower price or at a loss. This time of the year is when miners give their full attention to mining and when the market price is high, usually these miners sell all their bitcoins. It is certainly better to wait a while and sell at a higher price than to sell bitcoins at a loss, and miners usually do that. However, if the price of Bitcoin falls in half, many investors will have the opportunity to invest again, which is definitely a positive thing for new investors.

Most people believe that Old coins are a lot more safer to invest in, because they've been around for a while and they're still standing and keeping to their word. Everyday dozens of new coins troop into the crypto space, promising huge ROI to investors but In reality, most of those tokens are really not what they seem to be, most of em are scam tokens that's been created only to enrich the pocket of the creator. They're mostly more of a pump and dump token than a stable investment.

Most investors these days are interested in new cryptocurrencies because new projects tend to provide good profit on investments in case they manage to gain enough hype and success, when we talk about hype, that is mostly required for meme coins but for good projects, it depends on how they represent themselves in the industry and whether industry accepts them or not and that depends on what they are offering.

Those who want to take minimal risk should research the coins and tokens they are investing in to make sure that they are backed by proper projects that have something to offer because only genuine projects can stay in the market for long.

Meme Coins / Re: New upcoming project

I don't know if this is the coin dude KUSH you are referring to, as you can see below.

If this is what you're saying, KUSH, I don't see much potential in it, honestly, dude. You are also not giving concrete details of what you are saying here. Please fix it if you make a topic. Thank you..

Bitcoin Forum / Re: is $60k the floor rate of bitcoin after halving?
« Last post by 0t3p0t on Today at 09:49:48 AM »
Maybe yes, because I think $60k and below is a position that will never exist again after the halving occurs... the price should be bullish every day for the next few months (if you still adhere to the previous cycle formula)... and for a price of $60 before the halving won't happen for a long time...

Apart from that, the halving will also occur in the next few days, I think everyone will start to consider formulating their strategy to face the bullish market in the near future.
Yeah because based on a video I watched just recently on social media, we will be seeing Bitcoin $85k up in the coming months after halving so yeah it could be true though it could also be wrong but still we have time to prepare for it.
