it is true that ethereum is the best token for investment besides obviously bitcoin, but nowadays investment has started to change and could be short term not just long term anymore. because in the past few months, if we look at bitcoin, it has changed several times in just a matter of days, fell rapidly and returned up and even higher than before it fell. causing token to be affected by everything that happens with bitcoin.

For now, I think many tokens project are successful. So, you can do both. Hold Ethereum and buy ERC-20 tokens. But If the project is successful, I think buy ERC-20 tokens are more profitable than hold on ethereum. You must be careful to choose tokens, read roadmap, white paper and learn the team.
