Anfield has fallen! - The words I kept seeing after Liverpool lost to Burnley. Now they have a tougher task ahead of them when they face Tottenham. If they lose this one again, they can kiss their hopes of a back-to-back title goodbye.

Bettors on Burnley made a ton of money from this for sure. Odds were like at 12+ when I checked before the match started.

In this game I made a losing bet, but now I hope that against Tottenham they can be reborn, they really must, it would be a shame if they were left out.

Arsenal have been playing well in the Premier League recently but they were eliminated by the same team in the FA Cup few days ago. My money is on the home team on this tie (Draw No Bet).

The other two matches will likely end in a draw.

To be honest it feels like Manchester City are unstoppable. Their play of football lately has improved and their players are peaking almost at the right time. Cancelo has been immense and the team is scoring well even without talisman striker Aguero. Can they win the league title already ?

Time to move forward, Chelsea will be hosting Wolves in under three hours. This is the first match after Lampard's departure and I think players will be looking to impress their new manager.

Arsenal tie was indeed surprising and the team has improved together as a team. Chelsea first 40 minutes has not been fascinating at all; poor passes and nervous performance, perhaps effect of a new coach is taking its toll.

A draw for Thomas Tuchel in his first game as Chelsea manager as Chelsea fail to break down a resilient wolves defense structure. On the other hand, Burnley stun Aston Villa in a win that takes them up to 9 points above the relegation struggles

It was a disastrous betting from yesterday's matches for me. It was a night of upsets. Of all the teams Man United is going to drop points, it happened against the last on the table with a single win at the time. I hope they don't spiral down from this loss.

Tottenham 1:3 Liverpool


Liverpool score and win in a brilliant performance at tottenham ground to have a first league victory in the premier league in 2021 in what was a dominant display by Klopp boys. Liverpool now move up to fourth, 4 points off the top spot.

Does anyone have a count how many lead changes in the top table? I can only remember Tottenham were overtaken by Liverpool then MU took it from LFC. After a few blips from MU, Man City is now looking to ran away with a likely six point lead. February will be more exciting as they will be facing more top teams.

The league is very competitive this year that a team is only 1 or 2 matches from losing their position. Tottenham has grown far off the top spot with a loss away at Brighton today, and the Mourinho slide seem to be on. If Manchester city can go through February unscathed, they could be league winners.

They will undoubtedly increase their chances of winning the league to maybe 95% if they manage to win all games or at least draw with other title contenders.

I pity Tottenham's recent decline. Harry Kane's injury led to this and this tells us their lack of depth up front. The way things are now, Everton could even finish above them.

That's interesting considering that Burnley doesn't have a good record when playing at home.

Can Fulham add to Leicester woes with a win at home at craven cottage ?

A team fighting to be out of the relegation zone is hard to beat. Knowing how Leicester can become inconsistent, Fullham has a good chance.


Manchester United's nine goal could play an important role late in the season. They managed to close the gap on goal difference with Man City and tied with Liverpool.
