It is an advantage for most users that Elon Musk does not have most of the coins in circulation and it is also an advantage for those whales, who will be able to sell whenever they want, making enough profit. For normal users it is much better that Musk does not have so many coins, if he did Musk could manipulate the price much more than he does now, and that is not good for any coin/token and the community.

I dont think that a lot of altcoins wont recover from current price change and a minor part will hit or update ATH. With dogecoin or meme coins situation is even worse. The demand on them will decrease with every new thing appears in trend. Even influencers wont be able to get dogecoin back to +0.70$ level.
