Right now, there is a verifiable explosion of NFT gaming projects sprouting almost everyday hoping to exploit the trend, make some bucks and hope that they can all build a big community as inspired by the success of Axie Infinity...which is still making good money for its players even as we speak.
Just a mere look at made-for-ads Telegram groups can easily confirm what I am talking here. Of curse, many of these gaming projects will eventually fail as they can never all gain the market traction needed to survive.
That's why I am saying that we can be witnessing the return of the ICOs in 2017 and in 2021 it is the form of NFT gaming. Do you think this can be a good trend for cryptocurrency or just another fad that will eventually fade as time goes on?
Some of the largest crypto projects came about in 2017. Hundreds of scam projects too. Many more projects in the defi area were created in 2020 and 2021. Two of the most famous projects in the NFT area were launched in 2017. Thousands are yet to emerge, and most will not survive more than a year. Or will only arise for a reason ... to steal money from your pocket.
Bitcoin was also a project where more than 99% of people thought it was a Ponzi Scheme. The others who believed in it are now millionaires.
The world's largest companies came into being with the internet, and it will continue to do so.
Can you imagine that in the future, in a game based on AR / VR, you will also be able to quickly buy something to eat or even wear? Or listen to a piece of music with friends or watch a Netflix series? All of this will happen very soon in the blockchain Metaverse. But you have to find out yourself which project will prevail first. When the huge companies get into the Metaverse Platform, how do you think the token from this project will increase?
We are still at the beginning of an exciting future when it comes to blockchain itself and NFTs. Of course there will be a lot of scam projects, so, as always, "only invest what you don't need to live" and DYOR.
But information is free and that's where you should start.
p.s. Telegram? Discord is much more!
