As soon as the meme-wave cools down, we are faced with a new wave that is also surprising and scary - the Metaverse.

We see MANA x3 in 1 week, we see crazy growth of ENJ, CEEK, SAND. The cause was the introduction of the name Meta, its former name was Facebook.

This event demonstrates Facebook's direction in reaching users: not just a social networking platform, but they will create a virtual world for users.

I don't really understand the madness of Metaverse community, even though I have ENJ in my portfolio. Everything was so unexpected and many people started FOMO following this trend. I think this is really risky.

What do you think about the Metaverse trend? Is it just a fad like a Meme? Are you investing in Metaverse tokens?

it certainly still has a lot of risk because I see altcoins like this have the risk of collapsing and being trapped in high prices, usually when they go up like this the influence of whales who take advantage of the situation to play with prices.

So far, there is very little specific information about what the term metaverse means and what benefits and conveniences it provides. So far, I also do not understand how the new specified cryptocurrencies differ from others, and most importantly: what will Facebook have to do with these cryptocurrencies? I'm pretty sure that if Facebook's connection to cryptocurrency is discovered, regulators will intervene again and Zuckerberg's grandiose plans will come to an end. States will not allow the creation in private hands of a structure that will compete with them.

I guess there's nothing new about it, no matter how many trends and innovations will come and go, but the truth remains that all cryptocurrency-related investment has their own level of risk that's why don't just look only at the names, the latest crypto innovations like Defi, NFT, Metaverse, etc. are just part of the never-ending cycle and development of the crypto industry so just live with it or adopt it. and for me one thing is for sure I will invest more in the future crypto innovations and that's for real.

I think metaverse direction is with us for a long time now like direction play to earn.
There were no such directions in my portfolio, unless the bit.country project which will soon win itself a slot on kusama.
