I would suggest you read the latest news of the forum where the admin himself already shared that there are some other requirements as well to rank up except karma. Two of them are karma and the time spent on the forum. But, as he mentioned, Karma requires for higher ranks to rank up. Maybe users need karma requirements when they are already Hero + members. BTW, the admin do not want to reveal the exact requirements.

In my experience at altcoinstalks, I have never encountered anything like this because in the past, you didn't need karma to rise in the rankings.
Even those who write posts just to report bounties from social media such as Facebook and Twitter also immediately increase their ranking without the need for Karma.
But it seems that if the admin has made a statement like that, we no longer need to ask the admin about ranking increases, but if it is necessary to PM the admin, perhaps it should be done so that we can increase the ranking according to the criteria.

If your account doesn't meet the criteria for the next rank, your activity will just stop increasing. When it will start increase, it means you can get the next rank as soon as your activity number will achieve the needed amount.

I am not sure if you are kidding or not. But, isn't it obvious that when a member reaches all the criteria, they will just rank up automatically just like Bitcointalk? My rank is Sr. member on Bitcointalk due to the lack of activity. But I have earned 750 merits. Bitcointalk does not have login time requirements. So, What will happen if my activity increases up to 480? I will rank up for sure, right? So, there is no reason admin would PM someone to let them know that they meet all the criteria. I found it too funny after reading such question. LOL.

If your account doesn't meet the criteria for the next rank, your activity will just stop increasing. When it will start increase, it means you can get the next rank as soon as your activity number will achieve the needed amount.

Will the activity stop due to lack of required Karma or for another reason? As far as I know, there is no such karma requirement for ranking up and admin has kept that information secret but if that's needed then how many karma one should acquire to properly rank up and what about those who make good posts but don't get enough karma for their posting?

I think the Karma should not stop someone from ranking up but surely if someone tries to take advantage of the system then the admin or the moderators should manually stop that user's activity points for a week or a month. However, I believe that if someone posts good content and make valuable posts then the system won't stop them from ranking up.

A hilarious question, right? LOL. I guess I just dropped the question for curiosity sake since the rule is that the information about some rank is secret to prevent users from being so desirous of rank alone. Before I dropped that question yesterday, I only had one thought in mind, which I did not add to my first comment. But what was the thought? Read:

Now, let's assume you added a member like "Jokers" to your buddy list and you are always keeping track of his account activity, the number of karma he is earning per day, and all other stuff. If you noticed one day that his rank had automatically changed from legend to something else, would you not be able to predict what kind of activity on his account made him get that new rank?
