Limit In ChatBox

I had this idea because I had seen and read that in the Chatbox there were misunderstandings between members.
I'm sad to see it but in a forum there must be discussion. Then I also had this idea because I had inspiration from a thread that had been created by member yahoo62278 : Thread

With a thread like that, maybe I will give advice to all members and Admins:
-Chatbox is limited to each letter and word, for example under 5 words and 25 letters.
-Chatbox is limited to every time you send a message or chat, for example the break is once every 30 minutes or more.

The function of this limit is to prevent misunderstandings from occurring again as in the past. IMO

This is just my suggestion and you can ignore it, but what do you think about my idea??

First of all, I support the existence of ChatBox. It is more convenient than Telegram group chat and is really useful for the community to quickly reach the admin or any member of the forum. This does not exist in the crypto forums that I know.

But ChatBox is not a place to solve important problems, it is a place to chit-chat. A new topic would be better for the problems, especially in the Forum related section.

This is a friendly forum so I respect the freedom for all members to interact with ChatBox: I don't like having any restrictions. The benefits of the restriction may not be as great as the inconveniences it causes.

This chatbox feature is only for members who have difficulty finding something very urgent on the altcoinstalks forum.
When looking for something on the altcoinstalks forum, if you want a fast response, maybe you can use the chatbox feature so that other members who are online can reply quickly.
If only there was a limit for each word and message sent, it might not seem so good because it would limit other members from wanting to help those who are having difficulties on the altcoinstalks forum.

I didn't have time to think about it because I only saw it from my perspective with the narration for the limit of words and time in the chatbox.

I also see that many members don't know which section to choose to fix something in the forum and most of them immediately ask in the Chatbox feature.
It could also be like that and your reasons are acceptable to me. This is only my opininon and not for approved.

Well, I think your suggestion is good, but if you ask me, I did say that it's too early to impose such limitations in the chat box, since most of the users here are pretty new and still learning about the forum, there will be constant questions and suggestions, and sometimes, using the chat box is the fastest way to find solution to a very pressing issues.

And aside from the above, not every many people use the chat box after all, the forum is still growing and not crowded enough just yet to keep the chatbox extremely busy at all times, maybe when we get to the stage where there are several users using the chatbox, then that would be the best time for a limitation like to suggested to be implemented, implementing such limitations now will just be as long as turning off the chatbox feature, many users will ultimately stop using it.

I do not understand the kind of misunderstanding you are talking about. There's no chat without misunderstanding. I think it is a normal thing. If the misunderstanding is becoming very much, there should be some moderators who has the power of moderation such as deleting offensive chats or kicking rule violators out of the chat box.

Yeps, there are many new members who are present at the altcoinstalks forum and of course there are also many members who ask about the altcoinstalks forum in the chatbox.
If each member is restricted from sending messages in the chatbox, it seems like it will be difficult for new members to be able to communicate with other members, because via PM tends to take a long time and PM is specifically for peer to peer only.

This might be an option for all altcoinstalks members if they want to see and close the Chatbox feature.

I believe that chatbox is being cleaned once in a while right? and Admin is completely on the views of each chats so maybe its ok to let it there and if there are some misunderstanding then the admin might have a function to either delete the chats or pause those account that having not so good conversation and maybe will have some penalties like banned for chatbox for a week or more to not let them happen again.

Who knows if the moderators are even paid or they do their job voluntarily. If they are not paid, they will only moderate when they appear online. But if they are paid by the admin, it means that it is obligatory that they have to moderate every day to keep the community clean.
As for the chat box, many things will change in the future about it.

That's a great idea and I never thought of it and I also didn't have time to add this button feature in my thread, Good Job Kent!
I would also recommend this to all my local ang all members to check this feature on each of their accounts so they can close the chatbox feature easily.

Yes, that's right, as far as I know, 1x24 hours or more, the chatbox was deleted by the admin.

Who knows if the moderators are even paid or they do their job voluntarily.

I've checked for the chatbox feature from yesterday until now and I only see 9 messages in the chatbox.
This means that during 24 hours only a few members use the chatbox. If you calculate it with average time, maybe every 3 hours there is only 1 message sent to the chatbox.
Of the thousands of members who are on altcoinstalks and who use the chatbox, only 9 are members and the difference is that they send messages once every 3 hours, and I think there is no need to limit the chatbox feature.

This is just my opinion because I have noticed recently that many members rarely use the chatbox feature.
Maybe I myself am the one who rarely uses the chatbox feature because I only listen to chats in the chatbox feature, I'd rather make a post than send a message in the chatbox.
