Algeria to make owning bitcoin illegal

Algeria is putting a ban of Bitcoin and other digital currencies in the country.
The government is reportedly considering the prohibition of the use, as well as possession of the virtual currencies and not just a ban on their acceptance as a form of payment.

“Any violation of this provision is punished in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.”

for christ sake, what country's central bank doesn't want bitcoin banned?  seems more and more are popping up daily.  future looks bleak.

Isn't that just dumb. And they'll slip downwards in technology only to shamefully join back when they've seen they dont have an option.
