When Will Ethereum Get Back To #2

I have been wondering why it took Ethereum this long to replace Ripple in number 2 on CoinMarketCap, previous times it does not take Ethereum 48 hours to return to #2 on CMC, any idea?

Just now ripple is very active and constantly improving its technologies and trying to find as many partners as possible and ripple starting new cooperation, so ripple has grown in demand, and ethereum as always long doing their updates, but when the market will begin to grow, then ethereum again will take its place.

Hopefully as soon as possible, for me XRP at no.2 is the sign of a bear market. The largest altcoin being centralized speaks volumes to me.
I'm waiting for ETH to pass it to confirm a bull market reversal personally.

I see ethereum is struggling now. Ripple is doing better than ethereum now. Maybe at the next year, ethereum will get back to #2.

There is no one here or anywhere else that knows when that kind of matter will exactly happen, but if Ethereum is
doing good or performs very well after the bearish market season ends, Ethereum will surely take back its number
two position on the highest capitalization.

It's been 1 week xpp is in number 2 and until now ethereum can't go up shifting xrp, maybe this situation will be different if ethereum has done their idea in January, I'm still sure that eth will rise but in early 2019

Actually from first after BTC people maximum trade done with ETH. So maximum hold their assets with ETH. So when market down maximum give up their eth in market and eth price fall down. Their transaction also make slow. In the mean time people think another token that they can trust. So Eth is in 3rd position. no matter it is.

The near reason why could be of deep ethereum crash than ripple stays the same at. 3 to .5 dollars. The value of ethereum affect much the market cap.

The delay in launching ethereum 2.0 played a major role in the recent decline in value of Eth. Ripple, on the other hand, has been active with their latest developments. I expect Ethereum back at number 2 by January 2019 if the new platform won't be delayed any further.

Well, i think ethereum is facing some difficulties in bringing some new features to reduce this current price declining and in my opinion, many investors are beginning to throwing in the towel on ethereum investment.

Market capitalization will increase if price pumps proportonately, then trading volume will increase and automatically ranks changes. XRP is now on the 2nd ranking in Coinmarketcap.
