Hey just joined the forum today, searched through the forum for how the ranks work but all efforts proved abortive, any information on how it works and how I can rank up to legendary on the forum would help, thanks in advance.

Here's what is known so far with the new rules:

1. You need 1,200 posts to reach legendary rank (this number will increase gradually in the future since the target for legendary rank is 2000 posts).

2. Ranking depends on three parameters:
- Registration date : to limit speedy spam ranking.
- Time active on the forum : this applies for some but not all the ranks.
- Karma : this applies for some but not all ranks.

Do you follow the further information about the number of posts required for Sr. Rank on your local boards? In my local board [Indonesia], some members have been successful to reach Sr. Rank with the number of posts around 313 -315 posts or even more.

The exact amount, as it was counted, is 312 activity for Senior member for now. Posts number could be less than activity, so only activity is important to up rank.

Yeah, maybe in a certain case, the number of activity can be different than post. But commonly, in altcoinstalks, the number of both activity and post are the same.

Your activity is 1065 and post count is 1136, my activity is 1428 and post count is 1472. So it differed even before new rank rules. And now some users find that their activity stop grow until they stay at the forum the exact amount of days (it differs for different ranks), so post count could grow while activity — not.

I was indeed educated by the loads of questions and answers I had to digest here. I think the admins considered all possibilities and the end result is fair enough. The new ranking system will surely add values to the rank and ranking up still very achievable

I just noticed an account with that "badge" and now with +K. That same user was also given multiple -K due to plagiarism before.

plagia strikes can not withdraw alts
and would face punitive actions from time to time

I mean they weren't forced to create an account in the forum. Posting shouldn't be a problem if they intend to become part of the community. Ranking up is just a benefit of contributing and being actively engaged in the discussions.

It is at 45 posts but not for less posts.

We all create for making money in the forums, however some may wish to post regular and some can't like I went offline for a year and returned to this forums again. Posting here really helps to everyone including forum traffic rank, but some won't like to be a regular poster.

Right, She is now enjoying Jr.Member rank. She can post constructive post regularly to increase forum rank but it should be remembered that copy paste is strictly prohibited in this forum.

In my local board, i have observed that account having 330 activities (posts) can enjoy rankup to Sr.Member. But at first some members got rankup after 350 activities. Probably registration date and other few factors impact on rank system.
