NEO Forum / Re: Is token based on neo platform free fee?
« on: September 22, 2018, 09:28:47 AM »
Hi all.
As bounty hunter and sometimes join airdrop, I've found with several platform such as: ETH, Waves, Neo, etc.
But I found unique thing about Neo platform.
I sent my token from my neo wallet to my friend's wallet. I shocked when see there is no fee to transfer.

Any body here can explain why that happened?

Sorry for my english. Thanks

Absolutely yes! And did you see how fast the transaction is?
I love NEO!
Recently devs added a limit of 20 free transactions to a block as a spam countermeasure. There were several spams attacks on the blockchain, basically some addresses were spamming the network with thousands of micro transactions, so the devs introduced a new function that allows you to pay some GAS ( even  0.00000001) to give your transaction priority.. but still you can get your free transactions!
Very interesting, I didn't know that about neo. Hopefully more ico's use them, low transactions do a lot for a coin.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Any Regret Selling Your Coin?
« on: September 20, 2018, 10:17:42 PM »
Now that the market is crashing, I always remember that time I sold off all my 300 BNB at $2 only for it to fly to $20+ within a few days after I sold off. It was a painful moment for me. Do you have any such experience?
I too sold some coins during the bull and they went 10x after that. It does hurt but I did need that money and used it.. BNB is interesting and is valued at almost $10.  I'm not sure but there might be dividends on that coin.  Have to check if that's the case, And maybe invest in it.

EOS Forum / Re: Is it late to buy EOS?

I've missed a good chance to EOS at $11.6. Is it late to buy right now?
Of course there is no way to tell for sure.  If this coin has a lot of useful features in the future including ability to write contracts, there is no way to tell how high it can go.  This can potentially be a couple hundred dollar coin, but it might take some time to get there.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: what you think About "Tether" coin.
« on: September 20, 2018, 09:38:25 PM »
What's the difference between Tether and Ripple, there are some people say that Tether and Ripple are not altcoin parts.
Tether is a lot more centralized we have to trust that it will still be valued at $1 or close to it in the future. Where crypto can go up and down depending on the market.  And of course can be worth more overtime.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Can you wait?
« on: September 20, 2018, 10:53:18 AM »
For me Doing business and trading in the crypto world requires great patience and research. What is clear is that I personally retain the coins I have and continue to wait for the rising prices of coins in the market. I am sure that soon the coins in the market will start to rise and stabilize again.
I think someone at the top  must be selling when prices are really high, and possibly starting a  chain reaction as people panicking.

Ethereum Forum / Re: ETH vs bitcoin vs other crypto currency?
« on: September 20, 2018, 10:17:14 AM »
I like ETH and BTC as the two currencies to use as a solid base for an investment strategy. There should also be room in the strategy for many other currencies as well. Many upstart coins will give investors very rapid growth, faster than ETH and BTC. Having said that, my feeling is that the entire cryptocurrency market will see high volatility this year with fairly low lows and some very high highs. :)
I too think we'll see lots of spikes and possibly eventually trading steady at high point.  Everything is kind of unprecedented in crypto world.  I'm starting to like lows more and more, good time to buy.

Zcash Forum / Re: Is Zcash mining profitable?
« on: September 20, 2018, 10:09:35 AM »
Yes, of course you can, quite a lot of people are engaged in this. It all depends on what equipment you have at your disposal. I'll give you a link to the detailed manual, there everything is available written and there are references to the software needed for mining.

Sweet guide, lots of useful information about zcash.  The  CPU mining portion is interesting, would make an awesome project to learn about mining.  Kinda makes me want to try it.
