It's interesting finding, not only those pool use same custodial service, but they use same software/algorithm for creating block. It'll make people question further decentralization of Bitcoin. And while the news mention Stratum V2 as solution, IMO P2Pool is better option when decentralization matters.

Hashlabs Mining from Finland presented a project that allows generating heat using bitcoin mining devices to heat homes.

The solution is a combination of hydro-cooled ASIC devices of the WhatsMiner M63S model with the Finnish district heating system. The heat generated from mining the first cryptocurrency will be transferred through a network of insulated pipes to several residential buildings.
