Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Why are ICO periods long?
« on: August 28, 2018, 02:11:56 PM »
ICO period are sometimes categorized into phases with different bonuses and as such takes a longer period of time. The period is normally widened in order to reach more investors through the bounty advertisement and other means.

I think If the ICO periods long, we can get many tokens. If you ranks is high, you can join in short period. It is my opinion.

I know the only one really long ICO which is extraordinary successful - EOS.

How long was the EOS ICO and was it announced to be long or did they extend it in the ICO phase to be longer than it was planned to?
PS: did you participate? ;)

Icodrops is the best and hardest to list ico listing website.
Near all icos get a good amount of funds or at least reach their soft cap. Never see an ico on icodrops get canceled.

Thanks for the answer ;) so the icodrops criteria to be listed are higher than on other sites? This would mean also, that there are less ICOs listed there compared to others. Both has its pros and cons I think.

it's important to know where to find information.
I also read about some announcements and reviews here on the forum, but it certainly takes time to do that. The ICO rating site is obviously faster, only to have an idea and then can check detailed information about projects on their specific website

Yes, exactly. The sources for the information should be totally trustful. And obviously one has to check out the ICO projects on his own. So for me, the ico rating and listing sites are quite important for the, lets say, first step to have an overview and then to "dive into" a specific project.
The forum is also great but serves for me (at least now) as an additional information source.

The ico project appraisal site has been found and is available on smart phones. You can search ICO Bench on PlayStore and see the quality of the ICO project through your smart phone.

Thanks for the answer. ICObench is quite familiar to me. But why do you choose this instead of for example icorating or icowatchlist or others? Is it the best rating site out there? At least ICO watchlist has also a proper app for smartphones (I am not sure if for icorating there is one).

Cryptocurrency discussions / Good ICO rating sites?

Hey guys, I am sorry if this topis is repeated but as I am new in this forum I am obviously also interested in your opinions.
I know already some ICO rating sites (its not difficult to find them :) ) but as I am here now, I would know which you guys prefer more and which one you don't like AND obviously also the reasons you like and dislike them. Especially at the beginning it is (for me and surely also for other newbies) important to know where to find the informations.
I am also reading know some of the announcements and reviews here in the forum, but it obviously takes also some time to do that. An ICO rating site is clearly faster, just to have an idea and later one can check out the detailed information about the projects on their specific website or here in the forum.
Thanks in advance ;)

General Discussion / Re: Qurito website review?
« on: August 22, 2018, 05:42:53 PM »
Has anyone used the qurito website and have an honest, non-shill review? Thinking about signing up but not sure if it's worth it

Do you mean the qurito website where you share some ideas and get tokens? I just googled it, but newer heard of it. But honestly, I am also just since a half a year in this "business" and have to learn a lot ;)

Reputation, Scams & Phishing / Re: ALL are SCAM !?
« on: August 22, 2018, 05:35:12 PM »
that's very true, the news made by cointelegraph is 80 percent is a scammer. it is unfortunate to discredit the name of cryptocurrency alone people do the scammer so that trauma investors will invest their funds

I read this news about that 80 percent of the ICOs are just scam and it shocked me. Unfortunately there are so many people there outside who think that they are clever and can make a lot of money just with this scams. In the end, maybe they are clever but in this way making a lot of damage to those projects who are not a scam and who have great ideas. Because of the scams, a lot of people dont want to trust (which in the is the logical consequence of the scams). Sad but true

Sorting Box / Re: Whats the difference?
« on: August 22, 2018, 05:25:41 PM »
in many ways there are  differences between  bitcoins and  altcoins ex:  ranking in bitcoin based on merits, in altcoins no need  of farming of merits in order to rank up.  the policies and rules friendly to newbies

Hey Jun, I am now also new to this forum and have a question. What exactly do you mean with "merits"? How do you get merits in the bitcointalk forum? Maybe this question is kind of stupid to you, but for a more or less newbie its not that obvious. I am familiar with cryptocurrencies and have studied some stuff and have watched a lot of videos but now its the first time, that I am registered in a forum and one has to get familiar to a lot of stuff in the conversations here ;)
