Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Invest now
« on: May 11, 2019, 10:58:59 AM »
I personally feel that after such a big fall this may be the right time to invest in stock market. It may go down further but when it rebounds the results are likely to be rewarding.
Stocks are one of the most paying investment. But one should ‘invest ‘ and not ‘trade’. It is unique opportunity to participate in the growth and enjoy fruits of good business houses who have already made it to the top. They have passed all the hurdles on the way and are well above difficult times.

Yeah, kraken,Binaance, kucoin are very cool exchanges i have used kucoin and I'm considering Bitternex. However, i think the choice of exchange depend largly on transactions fees charged by these numerous exchanges. A cheaper transaction fee exchanges company may be the best to many guys, in my opinion.
When trying to decide on the best cryptocurrency exchanges, it is not simply a matter of ranking by volume or performing a broad comparison according to fees, accessibility, trading tools or other common features.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: investment is a future asset

Investing in the crypto industry is indeed very promising and opportunities for big profits are possible compared to traditional investment models such as gold or banks. But you need to know crypto is fluctuating, the ups and downs can occur quickly and many scams. Be smart in investing and do research carefully.
I've been struggling with the idea that all crypto currencies right now function as pump and dump pyramid schemes. It's all speculation. Their actual value has yet to be realized and its questionable if that value will translate to a return for anyone holding their currency.
I'm especially interested in private blockchains. I worry that it is the intention of these cryptocurrencies to crowd fund their startup and then sell off the tech to private companies with no compensation for their crowdfunders.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What is your favourite coins???
« on: May 11, 2019, 08:10:13 AM »
I'm a BTC lover. Till now BTC is my favorite crypto though ETH has taken some place on me. BTC is more secure and stable. Other altcoins have to prove them to become more trustworthy. I don't saying coins like ETH, XRP are bad but they have to go a long run. Even BTC is the everything of the crypto world till now.

Exactly. Bear thought me so much about crypto that I could have never learned during bull. Losing money during bear is bad but think about the advantages. You learn so much during bear that in the next bull you will probably earn so much more then the amount you lost.
With BTC reaching the $5000 milestone, the rapid 10% drop that happened this past weekend would "in my opinion" be the very definition of a correction. I figured we were in for a price drop sooner rather than later - and to be honest, I expected it to be slightly larger than it was. Just goes to show how strong Bitcoin really is, and gives an indication just how much all other cryptos are tied to it (or dependent on it).
The bulls are pushing back and who knows, next week we might even have a "stampeed", so to speak. Something tells me, looking beyond next week and into the next two or three months, the gains are going to be epic...

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will Bitcoin Replace Gold as Store of Value?
« on: May 10, 2019, 11:59:18 AM »
Bitcoin is a new discovery, just 10 yaers, it may be too early to tell. I think in the next additional 10 years we may boldly conclude that Bitcoin might replace Gold.
If the market gets more mature, and may be with regulations plus more attention, it can become an important place for investors to place their funds instead of gold.
Gold exhibits two different use cases built upon its intrinsic value and scarcity. Gold is used for ornamentation due to the inherent properties it provides such as malleability and shine. Gold is also used as a store of value to hold wealth because of the scarcity.

While #bitcoin does not offer ornamental advantage, it has it’s own inherent advantages such as payment processing or data redundancy along with smart contracts. Additionally, #bitcoin is also designed to be scarce in nature allowing it to be a good alternative asset class to hold your wealth. For sure, #bitcoin is a competitive asset for ‘store of value’ currently to gold and it may optimistically surpass the volumes of investments in gold reserves in the near future.

Therefore it is no surprise if #bitcoin replaces gold to be the new ‘Gold Standard’.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: The popularity of bitcoin.
« on: May 04, 2019, 10:50:49 AM »
Bitcoin is one of the world’s best known digital currencies and has enjoyed huge success over recent years. This is a currency that has increased in value as well as in usage, and experts believe that this is for a number of key reasons. Bitcoin is classed as a safe, appreciating and decentralised digital asset, which has helped to aid its popularity as well as its value. The no-VAT ruling in Europe has also helped to enhance the popularity and value of this digital currency.

One of the key driving forces behind the increased value of Bitcoin is its widespread usage across the globe, with many now opting to make payments via Bitcoin rather than using other methods. For consumers, being able to use Bitcoin provides increased ease and convenience when it comes to online transactions with the added bonus of security and peace of mind – something that you do not always get when you use payment methods such as credit and debit cards ue to higher risk of fraud.

Another reason why usage has increased is because acceptance has also increased. There are now many places where consumers can pay by Bitcoin, as many companies now accept this as a method of payment. From eateries and coffee shops through to real estate companies and more, Bitcoin is nowaccepted in a wide variety of establishments.

With Bitcoin having become so popular, it is likely that the number of retailers and businesses that accept Bitcoin transactions will continue to rise. This in turn will further increase the usage of Bitcoin amongst consumers, which will have a knock on effect when it comes to the value of this digital currency.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you believe at altcoins?
« on: May 04, 2019, 08:09:30 AM »
It is not enough just to believe in cryptocurrency. Many who believed-lost almost all their investments and left the market. We must act.To make possible and in a falling market.
Most altcoins are already dead zombies. In most cases, they have no real use case and few developments in the pipeline. So their valuations are just not sustainable and were fueled by pure speculation...

a few weeks ago my friend tried to trade in one of the low-volume exchanges,
but not long after the funds are entered in the exchange, suddenly my friend gets a Withdraw notification in his email,
because my friend didn't feel like withdrawing, he tried clicking the cancel link but it failed, and soon the withdrawal was successful and my friend lost the funds,
I tell stories not to mean low volume exchanges with many hackers, but I only urge caution if trading in low-volume exchanges, especially centralized exchanges rather than decentralization.
totally agree with you regarding many of the new money coming into the crypto market. A lot of that money is fueled by greedy desires that want to replicate the success of Bitcoin without looking at these investments through an investment perspective. The best strategy in my opinion is to do your research, find a coin whose philosophy is well aligned with yours, accumulate, and HODL! Awesome post mate..

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do we really need stable coins?
« on: May 02, 2019, 05:06:20 AM »
In my opinion, a fixed or stable coin is needed to continue to exist in crypto currency like Etherum, which in my opinion is quite stable, even this coin is very much favored by crypto currency users to transact from one coin to another,
we can pay attention to all existing data, see coinmarketcap and coin analysis whichever has a fairly stable range. There is no coin that has perfect stability. But I personally prefer coins that have a high potential of increase, so I can gain a number of benefits and for me it is a good opportunity. The investment we make certainly has a purpose and that is why we have to choose the right coin.

A lot of people have their own description of bounty. Some say its an easy way of earning tokens without investing. To me, bounty is also a form of investment but in this case, we invest with our time and energy either than physical cash
Yes, ICO and bounty are different types of investments, but they both are investments. And they mutually beneficial for project team and participiens-investors. It is just sad that with each ICO, allocation for bounty becomes smaller and smaller...
Sorry for offtop, I guess it should be in different article.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Choosing Crypto as Work
« on: May 01, 2019, 04:27:33 AM »
It is a tough call to leave your real job and focus on cryptocurrency trading and investing. It takes skills and guts, if you do not have them yet then better stay at your job
Why choose between the two ? Regular job is very hard to find, very hard to get hired then we / you are just going to leave it because you earn big in crypto ? You think we can always earn that big in crypto ? What if you get scammed ? What if the bounty does not reach the soft cap ? What if the market if red for a long time ? It is always good to have many sources of income

Interesting how the problems crypto is finding its way through mirrors problems the stock market is making its way through -- bots trading on stock exchanges blinds us to the true state of the market.

New stock exchanges have sprung up and are currently earning users because they have introduced latencies to reduce bot trading. This will probably have to happen for crypto exchanges as well.
