Another bear?

Hello guys, the cryptocurrency world have witnessed an upturn in fortune in the last one month or so, turning a market cap of 2 trillion USD. Now suddenly we are witnessing red candles, giant long ones. What's going on? Is it a massive correction or are the dreaded bears upon us?

I think this is a necessary correction. The whales that have made so much profit in recent weeks are taking those profits off the market. There is also pressure in the market to lower the capitalization and prices of Bitcoin and the rest of the coins / tokens to allow the entry of new capital by companies and corporations. I don't think it's another bear market, but I can be wrong.

Whole market has Read i see that all altcoins price has huge dump and this is unbelievable already my portfolio has minus 50% i don't know when it will recover now it is waiting time for recovering our fund.

I think this is just a correction. It is unlikely that bears came for a long time, because bitcoin is now very popular and it will not be possible to drop its price.

Now there is a huge drop in the overall marketcap but we must also remember market climb up non-stop even we have not seen correction from long So, in my opinion, it's only the correction of the market and we should not come to any conclusion that bear starts all of sudden. Be positive soon things will be changes again till then have some patience.

The market is overall down. I'm worried a little if this will be the starting point to come in bearish days. I hope I'm wrong. But for our seniors here even the investors and traders believe that this is just a major market correction. It means after this red market momentum we cam see bullish trend again.

It's just a massive correction and nothing else. Though newcomers are panicking for this type of massive dumps, but old users are well known with this as we previously faced this back in 2017 and samething is going on now. But we should be more aware of taking entry into any alts as all are bleeding because of the current correction. TBH, those will be recovered as soon as sideway movement of bitcoin starts again.

In my opinion this is the correction required for the market to continue to grow in 2021. If the BTC price and total market cap continue to climb, we should see a drop in this year and the altcoins season will also finish. Correction makes on-chain metrics more stable.

Well I hope this is just correction but they are slowly going down and down it seems the bear is slowly coming.. Oh well it's hard to predict but let's see what will happen in the next days..

The cryptocurrency market has been growing since about the beginning of 2020 and the bullish trend, as you can see, lasted for more than a year, and therefore everything went to the point that the correction of the cryptocurrency market was supposed to begin and it seems correction have begun, so if this is so, then every day cryptocurrencies will now fall in price and a bearish trend will begin, and all this may drag on for several years, unfortunately.

I will call it a correction, I mean the market has been pumping for days without any serious correction yet so this seem like a the much awaited correction for another price pump, weak hands should know this is not a bear market,  no need to panic sell.

@trauchot I do not think we are facing another bearish market, we may get to see it, but the interest unleashed by cryptocurrencies during these last months makes me doubt that it will not last long on the decline, of course I can be wrong, but I think that with the interest, publicity and attention that cryptocurrencies have now is greater than ever, and I do not know if we will see it fall into a bear market for years as you say.

Yes i also agree with you. These whales are are now making no only millions some are making billions through the market. This dump is very expected. I will be happy if the goes bearish because investors will get tge chance to invest.
