Do you always invest in top ranked coins?

Hi Everyone,
As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.
Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?

Investing in top ranked coins is supposed to be lower risk since the projects have developed. However, low ranked coins with potential will be suitable if you want bigger profit. In fact, most projects started with low rank. So, I think investing in the ‘right” project is more important than looking at the rank. To find the “right” project, you have to do tons of research.

Coins on the top ranks are rated more settled and ready to last a long time. When selecting the coins for investment in the long term is certainly a good thing done than have to try the new coins. many tops ranked coins now has become large and has the potential for much more than that.

Now you can’t be sure about a particular coin, so you need to be smart and use diversification. Split your assets in the top 10 and in the top 100 and in some coins from the top 500, then you will see the result

I do look at the rankings as reference to the coins that i am considering to buy but the ranking is not all i see to buy a coin, i am more interested in the competency of the team members whether are there able to follow through the whole project.

Yes,  It is true.  I have done it. I always invest in top ranked coins.  I prefer invest in ripple and ethereum. Both are very potential coin.

When choosing a coin for investment in the long run it is certainly a good thing to do than having to try new coins. many coin rankings have now become large and have more potential than that. The top-ranked coins are considered to be more stable and ready to last.

investing in the top coins is more profitable because for the price development it will definitely go up first and usually the coins below will follow, but there is nothing wrong with investing in low coins but having selling points

Not always buying crypto in the top ranking. Because I bought crypto which I considered to have potential profits when I bought it. So never see the ranking when trading. Maybe it's done for long-term investment, so buy crypto in the top rank.

If you mean to invest in top ranked coins and hold, that is a good idea but you must have the patience to hold it for a long time. They always recommend the top ranked coins because they are the leading in the crypto industry.

With the market situation, most of my investments are in the top ranked coins, I feel they are more save there, at least I will be seeing their value clearer there.

I don't believe in investing in top rank coins. I rather believe in looking for the gold at the bottom and that is how I discovered tokens like Blue, Rebellious, Poe and so on.

In order to be in the safer zone you just invest in the top ranked to avoid huge losses. The market is unpredictable and the market is volatile.

Not at all, but it is advisable to invest mostly on the top rank rather than on the new coins or project that are coming out. There are some projects that are valuable as well but not like the other ones that are in the top 100

In 2017 I invested also in "minor" coins but I think it's very risky now expecially if you are a long term investors... if this crysis will continue only few project could stand and survive and these are the biggest ones..
