Title: EOS Airdrop - via google form and telegram bot
Post by: Leeke on February 25, 2018, 08:37:32 AM
Please visit the official telegram chat for EOS where they have pinned the following post regarding a current airdrop circulating. They confirm this is not an official airdrop and warn the community to be vigilant. https://t.me/EOSproject (https://t.me/EOSproject)

Per the pinned post:

WARNING: Phishing attempts are rampant. There is no airdrop of EOS ERC20 tokens, the "EOS Airdrop" Telegram group is a well disguised and executed phishing scam. Always check a website's URL very carefully, be aware of dots above and below characters in the URL you visit, particularly when entering sensitive information. Do not trust people who ask you to send tokens privately. If you have recieved an email asking you to send tokens in exchange for more tokens, chances are it is a scam. Nobody from block.one will ask you to send tokens privately. If someone disguised as an individual associated with block.one or EOS.io and does ask you for tokens, it's a scam. Additionally, always be careful with your private key, it's PRIVATE and should always be that way. NEVER share it with anyone no matter what they say. Not me, not Dan, not your Mother, not your Dog. Nobody.

If you come across a phishing scam on Telegram please contact [email protected] to expedite a takedown. Feel free to contact @sandw1ch (EOS Telegram admin) with details on the exact scam.
