How to earn KARMA Points

Although you can get negative karme too and be disqualified from forum managed airdrops
But otherwise similar.

I was trying to work out how the system works, so this thread has helped somewhat. Seems that karma relies on more senior members putting value on your posts, which I guess makes sense. Does this mean that once you reach a certain rank, you can then give karma to newer members? I tend to dip in and out of the forum and do not always have time to write new posts. Still doesn't seem to be a great amount of 'action' on the majority of threads, but I guess this will improve over time as the number of members increase. As long as spammers are kept in check, has the potential to be a very useful forum.

Yes once you reach Sr Member (I think it is) then you can give karma, once every 10 hours. This happily avoids it being used as a "Like" button which helps.
As you said the idea is to combat spam and to reward users for useful content, which appears to be working in my opinion to a degree.
Remember we are still a very young forum, but in many ways more inviting as it's not too overwhelming in size/activity at the moment.

Still searching for karma, I always thought it was what goes around comes around, but I guess here only a certain level of members decide what is worth coming around, whether it has already gone around or not. Reminds me of Animal Farm by George Orwell, 'All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others'. Good book, haven't read it since I was at school, but amazing how the lessons still stick.

there are easy thing to do to earn karma points just help those newbie here or have a thread that helps them so you can earn karma points to higher rank members.

Kaemail are rewarded by people with higher ranks and it is based on assessment of your posts. That is good post, per assessment by a snr member, may cause him/her to grant you some karma. For you to rank to jnr member, you need to make at least 20 posts
