As I've shared before, I don't really have a big need for anonymity. I only use MixTum Clearnet and have never touched Tor onion link.

This sounds like a shilling and there is no need for it. There are many other tools and ways to increase the level of anonymity, it is a bit pretentious to say that it is only possible with these two services.

Mixtum or other similar active services are certainly one of the options, I would say one of the simpler options because they do not require too much technical knowledge from their users.

It really depends on where you live and the level of government interference in the personal lives of the population. In some countries, CEX is not a problem, although even there many people prefer to disclose as little information about themselves to government agencies as possible. But in those countries where the state apparatus interferes in absolutely all private spheres of life, anonymity becomes a necessary measure.

Actually I don't see anything wrong using CEX if one has a few hundreds but not thousands of dollars. There is no guarantee that a particular cex is not going to end up the same way with others that are not in existence again. If we take a look at the history of early exchanges that have existed since 2010 to 2020, we could conclude that majority are not in existence due to one problem that had led to their closure.

We need to be careful about our funds being left on exchanges especially huge funds because no one knows what the next CEX would after FTX. Holding funds in individual wallet is the best with owner of seed phrase.

This is why you should always use the TOR hidden service when mixing if they have one. That one is most likely not using CDNs at all, so they don't have the same problem as the clearnet sites.

There's no doubt that the bigger the cryptocurrency market becomes the more the government introduces more KYC restriction rules and regulations which will give people no other choice than to use CEX mostly and if I can remember the exact topic was once raised during the early stage of BTC when Satoshi was discussing it with the community devs but with the service provided by MixTum we can always have something to use for privacy purpose.

You make mention that you're using CEX without a problem, but you fail to understand most CEXs dont always have problems at the early stage until they are among the top CEXs which is when their key dev, staff, and CEO will be the target of bad actors and the government. You can take the issues of FTX, CZ, Bitfinex, and others.

It's not so much about actors exfiltrating data from the user's device than it is about the actors exfiltrating the data from some CDN's cache dump, considering that they put their own TLS certificates in front of the website's.

Additionally,  as all blockchain transactions are Public, you might regret not caring about your privacy earlier.

For example, an old transaction might expose your identity (if you are anonymous online like many of us)

What if transaction issues were not resolved before the window period, what happens to the auto deletion of address?
Meanwhile, how long has MixTum been on board as I want to give it a try.

Than dont use CEX, we can live without them fine and we dont have to worry about freezing coins ever.
And hiding identity or using tor would not help with that, it would only make things worse if combination of CEX exchange is used.

With so many Bitcoin mixers in the cryptocurrency space it's becoming complicated to know how to select a good one to use. I have heard so much about mixtum.io but not yet accustomed to it the way I would love to.

What am I looking for in a Bitcoin mixer?
Not really much.
1. Stand out security and anonymity: I believe this is the core reason why people even want Bitcoin mixer.
2. Protection from the mixer itself. Some bitcoin mixer may protect you from the public eyes and keep you anonymous but you would be vulnerable to them, I believe it should be both ways where you can get complete anonymity.

3. Compatibility with Tor browser: I don't know about other but this browser is the deal. It's like an addictional strong layer of protection added to the Bitcoin mixer.

Other things are secondary like transaction fee, confirmation time and so on.

If you take your time to go through the Op you’d see that all your questions have been answered there. Read the Op first before you start asking questions about things you don’t understand.

How long do addresses for funds transfer remain valid?

They remain valid for 7 days. This period is sufficient to address any network issues, delays and human errors that may occur, thus guaranteeing safety of customer's assets. Good to read about MixTum, since it does not store logs after some days, what if there was a transaction error that did not pull through? How is that going to be resolved from your end?
And are you saying that it has no security risks and cannot be compromised like leak of transaction details?
