In my opinion, that Ripple XRP is not a successful asset so far.  One reason why Ripple fails in cryptocurrency is because it is too centralized.  Even so, the system is applied to banking institutions and has the potential to interfere.  This causes XRP to have speculative value.  Most people buy XRP not because of current price movements, but because of their confidence in the potential for good prices going forward.  So it's all up to you, whether you want to invest or not.

Of course, I think ripple is not scam. It is good coin for Short term investment. I also read many negative issue bout this coin. But I think It just rumours. Ripple was supported by bank, and I see many people investors used ripple for daily trading.
