Image is important especially when posting an informative thread here in altcoinstalks it helps us to visualize more the idea of the poster. Maybe some members here already know how to post image but mostly are not.

To post an image you must have an image hosting sites wherein you will upload you picture/image.
I recommend you to use imgur.com (http://imgur.com) this is the most known image hosting site.

1st.Upload your image in an image image hosting site.
((go to imgur >click your username (on the top right corner) > images > add image > browse))
2nd.Click the image you upload then click the copy button of "BBCode (message boards & forums)"
3rd.You can now paste and post it on forums

Code will looks like this,Here's mine

[img]https://i.imgur.com/putzpAR.png[/img]Your image will appear after you paste and post it
(https://i.imgur.com/putzpAR.png)


When your post is too big you can resize it

Add width and height to your code, just adjust the height and width number

Resized image
(https://i.imgur.com/putzpAR.png)


You can also embed a link in an image
just add url code to your image

you can put whatever link you want to direct whoever clicks, but be responsible, dont use this codes for scamming and phising
when you click on this image you will direct from my profile summary
(https://i.imgur.com/putzpAR.png) (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;area=summary;u=38333)

--If you want to post and you are not confident what your post looks like, you can click the preview button beside post button
--You can centered your image post just add the code

Everybody, I notice when I click on resized image it gets to the original size, try it to prove it : )

Very good tutorial but should be posted in different forum section.

I think the most proper one for this subject will be General Discussion board.

When I look at General discussion board most of the thread was casino and gambling, I think it can be here in Forum related cause it talks about posting image here in altcoinstalks forum, maybe it could be good pinning this thread, but whatever you want, you may do : )

Suggestion.
Add guide to imgur how to upload, which link to choose, how to find this links. I think it would be helpful for many members who never uploaded something and your guide will top notch.

Wowwwwww, this is a very helpful and important post because I have really been having some difficulties when it comes to posting and resizing images but with this piece of information I think I can really do it with much ease.

The issue of  how to post image, resize image and embed a link in an image has always proved to be a problem to me on different occasions but I am very happy to see this very important post on how it works, I think it is really going to help me in the areas where I always have difficulties.
