Bybit hacked - $1.4 billion in ETH

On the last Bybit hack, it is clear that the exchange has overcome the hack, they have fully recovered from their normal liquidity levels 30 days after the hack.

Of course, they will say that they have recovered and in that way reassure investors, because otherwise they would cause panic and mass withdrawal from there, which could certainly lead to the collapse of this exchange.
Fully recovered means that in 30 days, they earned 1.4B and covered the loss. A bit unbelievable, isn't it?

The most significant impact of this hack was that eXch was seized and shut down.

What a terrible turn of events.... in the end, they were not blamed for anything and got in trouble

About the hack, I recall stating in the other forum there are many victims complaining of being selectively scammed by Bybit that have zero sympathy for the predicament Bybit find themselves in. I think Bybit were fortunate many exchanges were sympathetic towards them.

"Scrapegoat" is absolutely the correct word to use in this context.

The EU has gone crazy in recent years - hopefully their citizens will elect some more sane, crypto-neutral leaders in the future.

I think the EU has actually been neutral even when it obvious that adoptions is rising to other part of the world especially America. In facts, there are indication that while others countries working on improving crypto developments, many countries in Europe are battling with Bitcoin regulations, even the talks about privacy coins bans is still raging.

And now it looks like funds received from exchanges might be tainted. Examplens already said he had AML problems with some funds...

I will make a few hops with my funds and see what happens..  until another good serbice appears.

Maybe this happenings will even spark so many reactions whereby people will realized why they needed to take their funds from centralized exchanges to a non custodial wallet, another thing that is giving a serious concern is about the hack is on the particular coin involved on it, some are saying only ethereum and while on the other sides some others are saying that bitcoin together with other coins.

I also have AML problems, which I have documented on the other forum, and that is despite not receiving money from eXch for almost a year. The whole address and its descendants must be tainted.
