IMF done remove Nigeria from the list of countries wey dey owe them

Good day my country people, I been dey go through the Internet, na em one information just pop up so I say make i observe wetin eh be, to my suprise my country people I come see say the information wey pop up na say IMF done remove Nigeria from the list of people wey dey owe dem, I done go through the IMF list like 5 times I no see Nigeria name for their, this na very good news, even though i no like all the yamayama and magumagu wey this current administration dey do, them done try for this one cause normal to dey owe debt as individual no be better thing talk more of country cause eh go make the country to use money wey them suppose use boost the economy come also use do better things, dey clear debt. Anyways I dey fear say we fit still go back in debt again since this present administration carry first when eh concern borrowing of money matter, and no be even say them go use the money wey them borrow take do better thing self you go hear news like, Nigeria borrow millions in dollar from World Bank or IMF to use install solar panels for the presidential villa  or to use renovate am instead of them to invest in our educational sector then build more industries so we fit generate funds from them. I did not see this on the news but I am not presently reading the Nigeria news becusee it is boring as it is full of only politics and not innovations. What we need in Nigeria are innovations bit out leaders do not let us have the environment that will encourage that.

The main thing is what that is most important, we need development but we lag behind. What that makes us to be borrowing loan is still in the country because of our leaders competent leadership.

If this is true, then it is a welcome development, although just as others have commented so far, personally am not updated with the recent news in our dear country Nigeria just because how things are, this news will trigger me to activate some news letters and some information firms i subscribe to before, buddy I really commend you for bringing this here atleast for us to know, I think  the major problem we will be facing now that the country has been declared debt free by IMF, is reborowing,  I think they shouldn't be going back to the old ways again unless it is for necessity which should be accounted for after expended, the debt that was cleared was borrowed by previous countless government that has been their although this government has also make attempt to borrow but now the country is free from this life sucking stuff called debt, is now time for us to concentrate on doing the needful which is grooming our economy to the level that we won't be finding it necessary to borrow huge amount of money even though we finally decide to do so.

Hmm so they have cleared that bogus money I kept hearing on the news that they owe China? Just like you privacy is one thing I like a lot but for this case of Nigeria's dept it was even carried on the tongue of every Nigeria as they used it as a reference point for people actually owing saying that if Nigeria as country is owing then who are they not to owe too.  Well that being said it's a good thing that they are all cleared or should I say making efforts in actually paying off the debts because am certain it's only a matter of time before they post some article or news again about a huge amount of trillions Nigeria as a country is owing.

Watching the new these days can be very frustrating. As a Nigerian it is very necessary to keep tags on the recent happenings of the country but trust me when i say the internet is better than watching the news on TV. Crazy things can be happening in the country while the news will be showing a different thing instead of what we as the majority wants to hear. When I first saw this news online, I doubted it because the country we know is very good at borrowing and would still go to any extent to borrow more for irrelevant things, but to clear my doubt, I had to call a banker friend of mine for confirmation which was true then I began to wonder how it was done without the notice of nigerians. I would not be surprised to hear tomorrow that the loan repayment was serviced with an outrageous amount of money over time.  But all the same, it is a good record to say, and I hope the government now focuses on further development of the nation's economy and other sectors begging for resuscitation.

Well, no one is above mistake and there are times when we mistake a topic for another which results to us writing something that’s totally off-track from what’s actually being discussed and never found out until someone pointed it out. I think that’s the same thing here, he saw “loan” and probably thought it was the same as the one Nigeria borrowed from China, because that’s they one that’s known to many Nigerians unless you’re the type that actually reads news about the country (I assume few people actually do read news pertaining to this country).

Being in debt is not a good thing, i celebrate Nigeria for making their name out of the list of those that are owing IMF because this alone could be a lifetime debt upon the country if they are not paying back, now imagine a number of other countries that have been on the same list for years and how they have manage their way out but couldn't and still remained in debt till now as we speak.

Being in debt is not a good thing, i celebrate Nigeria for making their name out of the list of those that are owing IMF because this alone could be a lifetime debt upon the country if they are not paying back, now imagine a number of other countries that have been on the same list for years and how they have manage their way out but couldn't and still remained in debt till now as we speak.

I just don’t like IMF and how they really do with countries that owe them. They’re always at the top and always benefit more from them because they usually get back more than what they’ve lend to those countries. They usually go for things they know a country can’t let go off as collateral and pin them down until they finish paying up the loan. I am very happy that the Nigerian government are able to pay up this loan, it’ll not be a pain in their minds again and borrowing is not actually a good thing for any country but it’s non-negligible.

My brother you done see am now, one thing I dislike about this present administration na be say them dey collect unnecessary loans from World Bank or IMF or other big country like China, wetin dey vex me na say I know dey see anything important wey them dey use this loans do, you go hear say states like Lagos and Portharcourt alone dey generate better billions in naira but the federal government go still go collect loan, yet we get only few better federal roads across the country, few standard government hospitals, we dey lack jobs, the one wey dey pain me pass na say our refineries no dey function properly, if you ask me I go say all this loans na for their personal interest and that of the kabals.

No one is indeed above mistake which I do not doubt, though, but it is obvious because there were no much quoting here which we could have said that he or she got confused but just a single and simple thing to say which would not cost anything to take time to glance through before making any post.
