General Discussion / Re: Have you won anything online?
« on: May 30, 2024, 09:32:25 AM »
Well, there are a lot of KOLs that are going to dump on you if you have chosen the wrong one to follow. I know that there are a lot of celebrities that are making projects and announcing them and just dumping on the people who believe in the project.

A lot of under the table talks and then just dumps when the buying happens. It's common now. So when I see contests, I just make sure I don't put money or minimal fee, like a lottery ticket or something.

If it's a type of investing it would be hard to justify for myself.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Wallet for ETH
« on: May 29, 2024, 06:37:55 PM »
I'm using my hardware wallet, Ledger, and Trezor and connecting it to Metamask and Phantom. For everything related to ETH layers and the chain itself, it's mostly Metamask, but if it's SOL, it's most likely Phantom to be used. It depends on what you are trying to do.
In addition to supporting the Solana blockchain, Phantom also supports other blockchains, including Bitcoin + Ethereum + Polygon, making Phantom a favorite choice for many users in recent times, becoming the most downloaded application on AppStore and GooglePlay. I often use MetaMask but am also learning about Trust & Phantom. I think that decentralizing crypto storage is as necessary as asset diversification. I do not refuse any crypto wallet application, as long as it is secure, multichain supported and user-friendly.

Thank you for elaborating with this. It's really interesting to have Phantom being connected to my hardware wallet and making it more secure. It's like having a steroid wallet lol. I use it to participate in different projects as long as it's compatible.

Meme Coins / Re: Are You Confident in Your Memecoin Holdings?
« on: May 29, 2024, 05:58:02 PM »
When it comes to memecoins, I believe SOL is definitely the chain and all the protocols and chains that you can encounter are there. There are a lot of coins that are being freely airdropped just because of it. I have seen my address receiving a bunch of MEME coins just for the fun but I haven't really done anything with it.

It's sad that I have yet to profit from meme coins. I'm not that lucky in terms of it. Hence, I'm not confident.

There are always going to be hardships especially when it comes to quitting something that you have always been doing consistently. The repeated attempts to quit and the big cycle of life that you have where you are stuck in that continuous loop.

I believe having meditation and acceptance that you have an addiction would result in having a good result in the quest that you have to quit.

You have to exert so much effort.

No worries OP, That's kind of natural when it comes to starting trading. You need to get the hang of it and somehow make ways to profit and predict it correctly. It's not an easy task on the path of profitability in trading and it's always not going to be a 100% prediction rate because there's nothing like that.

For the emotions that you are feeling, it's valid but make sure that you remove yourself and see yourself in an outsider's perspective so you are taking things objectively.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Are you using Hardware Wallets?
« on: May 28, 2024, 03:48:55 PM »
I use both Ledger and Trezor for holding my cryptocurrency holdings. It's just about having the flexibility of both but I use more of my Ledger compared to Trezor because of its portability. I really like how it holds up so far.

I haven't had any problems with both of my hardware wallets.

Well, I do see that the SEC is more out for the blood of investors and exchanges but they are sometimes in the right when those types of scammy exchanges are taking advantage of people. I have the same sentiment in terms of that but I don't think it will continue often now because the bad guys are getting more and more exposed and gotten rid of so maybe it could be the golden age of crypto now? Especially ETH being approved as well.

I have seen those dust problems occurring but I didn't know that they can be used in such ways that someone with that amount could fall victim to it. It's just really being vigilant that you prevent those types of things.

Meme Coins / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins?
« on: May 27, 2024, 04:32:25 PM »
The most recent one that I have profited from is in $DEGEN. I was able to make money when I bought it. It's really fun but risky to invest in meme coins because of their volatility and background. It's not always going to be a profit but it's worth it IF you manage to do it.

Well, if you manage to get an early advantage with a meme coin, perhaps you can profit again. What I'm seeing is like APU and MUBI

Well, unfortunately, that's always going to be the case. It depends on the "unfortunate" part because is going to be dependent on if you like meme coins or not in terms of investing. A lot of people probably have their own liking with it. It's really up to them if they would want meme coins or not.

It can be a dual thing but in essence, it's still a meme coin even with utilities. With the name itself, it's definitely something to do with cats and it's not about the utility. Overall, it's still seen as a meme.

Crypto gaming (GameFi) / Re: Thoughts on Notcoin hype so far.
« on: May 13, 2024, 06:08:56 PM »
Hmm. It's just now that I have heard of it but it's interesting if it's about being mined in Telegram. I don't know how much it impacts the market with that. I do hope that I have gotten early on it as well but it's just what happens in life.

It's not listed on Coingecko yet but maybe we can try to get around it or something? But I know it's a meme coin right?

It will be dependent on how much I am invested in a certain project. I imagine myself checking from hour to hour on how long it will take to increase my investment. It just makes it more exciting when it increases.

It's not just the major price dips for me, but the moment that it gains is what I want. Dips for me are just the assets for sale.

In terms of frequency, I must say I'm more of multiple times a day but with the use of my widget. It's opened on my phone and laptop and just see the price of BTC currently.  That's just my routine.

I believe it's all about the part where you are internalizing yourself. If you are not in the right mindset, you will lose. It's like the manifestation and the attraction between the different stuff that you want. It's important to have that "mental support" if you are aiming for something. It's best that you have set a goal for yourself in order to achieve what you really want.
