Waves is amazing. I see so many interesting news in twitter for the Waves updates. I also saw that waves is planning to add smart contracts. Did you hear anything about this?

I don't like waves outrightly, simply because of their transaction fees, I don't see myself doing more on that waves platform, unless their TX fees are reviewed. They should make it flexible. Also of late, their faucet is not working again. So many things is just wrong about that platforms, that needs to be reviewed  and adjust. They are one way traffic that focuses on tx speed and abandon other things.

I prefer Ether, however, I think it is important to invest in all the major platforms. A major company could decide to use the Waves platform for any business reason and waves will moon.

I dont know that I "like" Waves as investment but I think its one of the better excahnges currently on offer.. the interface is a bit weird at first but grew on me over time..Decentralized exchanges will become more popular by the month now with more and more threats of legislation.. true test really is liquidity on tokens not primarily exclusive to Waves... and thats the part I'm not sure about.

Waves are great - near instant transactions, leasing nodes (LPOS), and POS4all, easy token creation and a low fees that are set. There are multiple faucets available as well - and good communities built around the platform.

Drawbacks:
Like ETH - the easy token creation makes sham/scam creation easy target for people to get conned - so make sure you're only buying verified tokens or Bitcoin on it - as some people have been fooled thinking they were buying Ripple or BitcoinGold tokens or even USD.

I like Waves as a blockchain, way cheaper and more trustworthy than Ethereum. Not sure about it as a currency though.
