It would be very nice of you if you posted the numbers here.
Here is a number for you - 0 aka zero.
This is how much is transaction fees on Liquid network, like I already posted before:
https://liquid.network

From what I can understand, L-USDT is gaining traction but isn't widely supported yet on centralized exchanges. For instance, USDT on Tron or Ethereum is widely accepted across various services for payments. And Liquid looks promising in the long run, but at the moment, practical applications seem somewhat limited.
You can easily swap L-USDT to Tron or Ethereum addresses from inside Aqua wallet, so they don't need to have all centralized exchanges with L-USDT listed directly.
And I wouldn't even hold USDT on any blockchains long term, there is always risk with them losing peg because of potential ban or regulation change.

USDT Forum / Re: USDT is now on TON blockchain!
« on: May 17, 2024, 09:28:39 PM »
Tether, the USDT issuer, has announced a partnership with the TON Foundation - they plan to create a "comprehensive crypto payment solution."
First time I heard about Oobit app but it looks like a bridge between cryptocurrencies and traditional fiat payments, and it can be used to pay anything with crypto.
I have to research it more but I think there is mandatory identification process for creating oobit account so I don't like it.
I doubt telegram will be able to skip this kyc and that means all USDT transactions will be tracked and traced.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Best Ethereum Wallet with Lowest fee?
« on: May 17, 2024, 08:40:10 PM »
Transaction fees is not connected with ethereum wallets in any way, so you can't have one that has lower fees.
It is best to set fees manually with any wallet you are using after checking gas fees, and I think Rabby wallet is much better option for that than more commonly used metamask wallet.
You can download Rabby and install it on your computer, use it as browser extension, or as mobile application for smartphones:

Bitcoin Forum / Re: The anti-mixer arm of Congress

Nearly the entire democrat party was bought out by SBF's "donations" to them using customers' stolen funds, so that would shed some light on why they would want to protect him and keep grinding crypto at the same time.
Yes I remember that, he supported Biden on last elections and send a bunch of money for his campaign.
I don't think situation would be any different for him if he supported Trump and republic party, all this politicians are puppet liars who work for the same bosses.
If sometimes it does appear like they are arguing it's only a circus show for the people as a distraction.
Nobody should fall into another of Trump's trap, now it's with crypto.

The problem looks to be that people are trading tBTC coins at https://altquick.com/exchange/
About 5usd por 15 tBTC last time I checked.
This is stupid and nobody should purchase something that is worthless and have no monetary value by definition.
I remember owner of this crappy exchange from bitcointalk forum, because of people like him we need to have bitcoin testnet reset more often, and they release new versions.
Recently they released Bitcoin Testnet4:

It had been a while since I heard anything from him, and today I came across this very cool video that I watched again
I was hoping to hear more from him after latest wave of developers being arrested along with other OG bitcoiners.
Maybe he is concerned and he is not making so much videos anymore, he is not even active on social media anymore, but I know he cares about privacy and bitcoin.
Separating money from the state is utopia if we are waiting for corrupt governments to do it, and I am not saying Bitcoin is ideal but it is the step in right direction to achieve this separation.

if the US would have wanted him
Such naive thinking...  ::)
He literally said before several times that if anyone in future ever claims that he performed suicide, that is a lie.
Sure they wanted him dead, and not because of some stupid taxes charge but because he knew dirty things about them.
They started arresting developers, and one day they will come for everyone else...

He was a nutcase, there was nothing else about him.
Sure he was crazy, but what government is doing all the time is ''normal''.  :P

It's one thing to care about privacy it's one other thing to advertise your business as helping to evade the laws of the country you reside in.
When laws became crazy it's not such a bad thing to evade them.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: High fees is a never ending story?
« on: May 17, 2024, 07:50:10 PM »
we need to live with it mate or we will always be like this stressed about the high fees but of course this must have solution because the longer the fee grows the more people starts to deny using bitcoin .
remember that there are tons of coins that has lower fees and faster confirmation .
For most people paying around 10 sat/vB is mostly acceptable transaction fee, that is currently $1 USD, but I doubt this will stay on this level for much longer.
If someone is so concerned about paying higher fees and they want to save every time they send transaction than I would recommend moving some bitcoins to second layers like Liquid Network as L-BTC, or to Lightning Network.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Roger Ver has been arrested
« on: May 17, 2024, 07:38:55 PM »
You have to pay a massive exit tax to renounce your American citizenship, so this is not viable except to really rich people who move to tax havens to keep their wealth (and they will not be allowed to enter the US again if tax evasion is the reason why they did that).
Land of the fReE  :o
It's even worse to do that in Canada now, with new laws they are making it very hard for anyone to leave that country and they are charging huge additional taxes.
Canada is looking more and more like Cuba, but maybe this is because of genetics... there could be connection between Justin Trudeau and Fidel Castro via Margaret Trudeau.  ;)

« on: May 16, 2024, 10:21:57 PM »
Likely won't be the 1st bitcoiner from the beginning that we see arrested for evading taxes. Government is always watching, people need to realize that. They're getting their piece regardless.
How can they charge him for avoiding taxes when he renounced US citizenship a long time ago?
He doesn't live there anymore, but problem is that he is a public figure and they don't like what he is saying, so fter so many years they just now decided to arrest him in foreign country.
Last thing I hear that he is now in the same prison as John McAfee in Spain, let's hope they won't kill him in similar way.

USDT Forum / Re: USDT is The Most Stable Coin?
« on: May 16, 2024, 10:02:43 PM »
I don't understand why people are surprised about possible ban and regulation of stablecoins, I always knew they are going to do this one day, especially since they are in hurry to start their CBDC crap soon.
Meanwhile people can use dollars and euros, they are ''safu'' regulated and they are going down all the time, that is the the only stabillity you will ever have with stable coins and fiat currencies  :P

I'm 99% sure this will be one hell of a conviction and prison term,  it's going to be really bad for the two above.
Yeah I think that also, unless their lawyers manages to do something amazing with support of community and other people who support Bitcoin and privacy.
I would not be surprised if they end up in similar way like Ross Ulbricht founder of Silk Road, just as an example to other developers.
Another interesting ''coincidence'' news I heard today about arrested Roger Ver, he is currently held in the same prison in Spain as late John McAfee... and we all know how they suicided him back in 2021.  :P

Even Bitcointalk did not go so far as to ban public speech about mixers outright
It would be crazy if they did that for mixers or for anything else, and if something like that ever happens people will just abandon their profiles gradually.
I would not like to be in position of theymos now, except maybe for the part of amount of bitcoins owned ;)
It's nice to see we have more freedom in AltcoinsTalks forum (for now).

Since I have not seen any country try to sanction people for talking about mixers (not even authoritarian states like Russia), I am led to the conclusion that such censorship is non-existent.
They are sanctioning talk about other subjects, so there is obviously censorship in different form and they can alwaas expand it.

Censorship itself does not prevent people from talking about something or discussing how a service works, but rather it prevents them from using it freely.
What?!  :o
Do you even understand what censorship even means?
You literally are not allowed to talk about specific subject at all.

Quote
Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication, or other information.
