What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?
I think personally that cryptocurrencies won’t make FIAT useless, but I think that cryptocurrencies will work hand-in-hand with FIAT money. Especially in countries like the United States, and the other first-world countries; A lot of companies such as Boosteroid etc. ,  create usefull cryptocoin which are making transaction cheaper and easier.

Cryptocurrency are alternative payments methods, they cannot totally replace fiat system.they might come times where you have to pay with fiat and so we cannot expect cryptocurrency to take out fiat totally. Though in the future, we might see people adopting digital financial system more. Because it's far more easier and one can have control of his funds if he wish, compared to fiat Which are generally controlled by the government.

I find those duplicated boars just make harder to post, harder to find posts... this reduces interactive in the forum.

You are actually right, most of these boards aren't that necessary, they could be combined to one and if anyone wants to discuss issues relating to them, he can still discuss under the selected boards. I have always wondered why we have so many boards for some coins that aren't even in the market anymore or are less important. Though it's an altcoins forum but not all coins are relevant to create a board for. it just makes the whole forum a bit bulky.

I come to the question when I have to make such an important decision, should I choose the first or the second option, which is better and safer for you people? How long do you leave it on that option?
The title of your thread makes it difficult to comprehend. But you should know that wallets is safer since you have full control over your keys. Storing funds on exchanges is like giving these third party your keys and funds to hold. Anything might happen and your funds will be gone so it's better to store your money using good wallets and not exchange wallets.

Like I said earlier in the campaign thread: What is the point of continuing to advertise for something that isn't even accessible?

I guess there might be some problem with their service. But we are still to hear from the campaign manager @royce777 if he had any contact with them. It would be better to know what happened. For now, I guess the campaign can still go on a bit untill it's confirmed that there's no contact from the team or their website.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Are Bitcoins a good investment?
« on: May 02, 2024, 08:11:14 PM »
You can easily trade bitcoin for cash or assets like gold instantly with incredibly low fees. The high liquidity associated with bitcoin makes it a great investment vessel if you're looking for short-term profit. Digital currencies may also be a long-term investment due to their high market demand.

I was looking at the title of your topic and was beginning to wonder if we now have different kind of Bitcoin to invest on. Though we have some coins pegged to Bitcoin but they are not and will never be BTC. I wish op can edit his title and write it properly. Bitcoin is a nise investment and the best when it comes to cryptocurrency. Everyone wants to invest in Bitcoin. For long or short term is you understand it properly you will make good profits out of it.

Forum related / Re: Campaigns and Forums Traffic
« on: April 30, 2024, 12:17:11 AM »
I guess, the forum still need a little time to draw in more traffic. Going through some forum stats on BTT for the past month since mixers were banned, you will see that some members have really drawn back in their previous active status, Since they have to be active on both forums. I think the forum needs more campaigns and new discussions, to actually draw more traffic to it self. New campaigns will be launched in the future and so a lot of new members would register and also old members with high ranked accounts will want to be active ones again.

Some though are not loading on my end and I have to go to the source just to see the memes. So it is just me or others are seeing the same as well?

Same here, the main page shows just few images while I have to open each memes to view them properly. Went through the website and it's looking fine and simple but really need some improvement and designs to make it look cooler.

In case you're wondering why i didn't share this news on "Bitcoin News & Updates" board, it's because the website show some non-Bitcoin memes. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.
It can still be on the Bitcoin news & update board, since it's was initially created for Bitcoin memes and going through most of them, I only found Bitcoin relateds.

And how will you manage crypto loans, when you couldn't do so with fiat loans? Though most time  a I get nervous when I see people giving out crypto loans as anyone can do away with your money and I'm not sure there's much that can be done to retrieve. I'm not the loan kind of person as thankful my maker(God) provides all I need. Just try to figure out normal bank loans first before thinking of taking crypto loans because if you aren't well recognized or an active on a  loan platform, you may be limited to small amounts.

Or should I put it this way like this scientist would say that ... What you can't see, touch or feels doesn't exist just like the ghosts, souls and the physical body being of humans and all that livings.
Equivalent to the traditional currencies and the Bitcoin and other crytop coins.
It's as easy as doing your research and having good knowledge of how the system works. A lot of Bitcoin illiterates may be confused when they are newly introduced about the existence of such technology. But what I think draws people alot into Bitcoin is when they are informed of how they can make good profit. Bitcoin like you said, don't have a physical form, that's why it's called digital currency so anyone who wishes to use and understand this technology should at least be someone who understands what digital means in the first place. Not just crypto currency is digital in our modern world. We have banks turn fiat into digital forms, gold now having ETFs where we don't have to deal with the bulkiness of physical assets.

Nigerian Languages / Re: When Binance returns, will you return back?
« on: April 25, 2024, 06:15:53 PM »
Some sanctions and policies do not always stay the same for long, they can change while a government is still in power, or when they pass power on to a new government. I think that Binance will be back to Nigeria, and when they come back, how willing do you think Nigerians who are into cryptocurrency will be to return back to them for exchange services?
The best part is that not all Nigerians left binance for good. Like myself for instance, I still use binance up till date to do other trading activities. So yes, if binance were to return the Nigeria p2p section, I'll be very happy so I don't get to use two different exchanges to carry out my trading activities like i currently am doing. I just believe that our government wants to tax all these exchanges before they will let them operate in their space. Not just Nigeria has driven binance out. in couple of months now, countries like Philippines, India has driven out exchanges and I guess they all want the same thing which is to pay a fine or to tax them.

In the past, I used to check my holdings in my wallet just like watching a horse race as if I would be winning something if a coin will make it to a certain level. Surely, many people are also doing it now as top coins are getting to be very volatile. I checked the site mentioned above and it is actually good...this is my first time to know of it and I am adding it to my bookmarks.
Though there nothing wrong, checking the market from time to time, but as a long term Bitcoin investor constantly checking the market may reduce the time span of your initial investment plan. I only check the market when I'm less busy or hear news of Bitcoin breaking a new Ath. Or again when I'm doing research on an altcoin I wish to invest in, I try my best to monitor it's movement chart just before I proceed with the investment.
