Well we are know that during the bull run if bitcoin experience a great surge, other potential coin (like ETH)  would surge in price along with bitcoin. Like days back ETH touch the price range of $4k, same time bitcoin hit $73k then market experience a dip .I think I ETH have the chances of hitting $5k even more than during the bull run after the upcoming halving, base on research I did back then.  The bull run may start this year but the main may be 2025 because most time after every halving that has occurs a year later before the main bull run so during that bull run ETH going to surge to $5k , even more depending on how things goes. ETH is also a coin that suit long-term holding too because of its potential.

Unfortunately today the bitcoin market conditions are not good which has caused the price of bitcoin to collapse, with this decline in the price of bitcoin having a negative impact on the prices of other altcoins including the price of Ethereum. Hopefully bitcoin can reach its highest price again because the halving is only a few days away.

After passing the ATH being the movement is unpredictable, especially to only be able to pass $74K being it is like being stuck, but the decline is also sometimes quite high. It can reach $61K, so the range is between $61K-$73K, and it's currently at $68K.
Maybe this situation will continue to occur until the halving period, or maybe after the halving period? Everyone can't predict correctly.
Indeed, the decline in Bitcoin affected altcoins and I actually saw that BNB was able to improve even though it was slow, but indeed, most of the altcoins were affected.

Halving event is for Bitcoin and not for Ethereum and that's the reason why Bitcoin was able to recover quickly and was able to make all time high, but ethereum doesn't have all of that, the growth is just base on the development of the blockchain, the hype and how consistent Bitcoin continues to grow anytime there is bullrun on the side of the Bitcoin market.

If Ethereum has halving event like the way Bitcoin has its own, believe me Ethereum would by now be trading around $10k or even more and if they are able to reduce the transaction fees, it's going to be a great signal for bullrun for Ethereum and many new all time will be unlock.

We have seen the price of ETH very much dumped from 2022 to 2023. The value of Ethereum has been very low in these two years while all other coins have increased in value, but the value of Ethereum has not increased in comparison. However, starting in late 2023 and into 2024, the price of Ethereum has been growing sufficiently and looks to be much more bullish. We saw yesterday that the price of Ethereum touched $2640, and this is the highest it has been in two years. So I guess since Bitcoin ETFs have been approved, the value of altcoins has started to change as well. I expect the price of ethereum to exceed $5000 this year, since the price of ethereum is still low in comparison.

Ethereum coin is definitely very likely to hit 5 thousand dollars. Because in 2021, when the price of Bitcoin touched 69, the price of Bitcoin was $4200. And since then in 2022, all markets including Bitcoin have been completely dumped, but Bitcoin has recovered substantially and set new records.  Currently the price of Bitcoin is 73.6K USD but the Ethereum coin has not increased in comparison.  So it was very likely that the price of Ethereum coin would be $7000 according to the price of Bitcoin now.

Agree with your opinion, it seems that currently bitcoin is moving on its own, so it can pass its ATH, but altcoins can still move even though it's not as good as what bitcoin is doing. This is something else. Usually ethereum will always follow every movement of bitcoin. Currently there is no ability to do that.
So the most important thing for ethereum to do is to be the same as bitcoin through its ATH first and during the bullish season it will create a new ATH.

If you look at the last ATH in 2021, ethereum was able to make a really good achievement at a price of $4,891. After that, it experienced a prolonged correction with a price that was quite worrying at a price below $1K and only experienced an increase a few months ago, and now the price has started to improve to around $2,610.
Usually, ethereum will always accompany the movement of bitcoin. If,  in the halving era, bitcoin can improve quickly, there is no doubt that it will also have an impact on ethereum. But whether it will be able to pass the last ATH at the end of 2024, of course, will be seen by Ethereum's ability to continue moving and investors continuing to compete to continue buying and holding until the highest achievement in 2025.

Wow! That crazy cause I never actually knew ETH have achieved such height before that's the price reaching $4800k before because am not that interested in the price of ethereum am a bit skeptical  when it comes to most altcoin although am well aware that ethereum is one of few altcoin which have gotten a name for itself in the cryptocurrency market. But what I can say about the price of ethereum hitting $5000k is that I don't see a possibility but I might be wrong who knows but am just sighting my own speculation.

I do believe that it will reach those levels, which will take some time but I do believe that it will reach those levels. I just think that we need to let it marinate a bit first. I get that people want to see big increases quickly, like for example bitcoin has broken over the 2021 bull run ATH price, and ETH hasn't, to be fair most projects hasn't, and that is why people do want to see ETH and other altcoins to go up. But I would like to point out that alt season hasn't started yet, when it does, we are going to probably see a lot more stuff and the prices will keep going up a lot more, that's what matters.

Yes, ETH will be reaching the $5000 zone this year and if my optimism can materialize there is a strong possibility that it can even go as high as $8000 most especially if there will be ETFs approved for this asset. Notwithstanding, ETH has the best potential aside from BTC to be the torchbearer in the cryptocurrency industry. Right now, ETH is impacted with the movements of BTC but once ETFs will be in placed there is a big possibility of it detaching from BTC and having a journey of its own. ETH is always on the limelight and though some developments seem to be pulling it down (like the inquiry on the question of it being a security), it will only come stronger and bolder. The only downside I don't like with ETH (together with BTC) is the high gas fee per transaction which remains to be unsolved up to now with all the updates that  already transpired in the network,

All time high price of Ethereum around $4,878 over two years ago based on Coingecko data released, comparison with current price from Ethreum under $3500 need over 40% increasing for Ethereum hit to $5000 and little difficult because ethereum always allow with bitcoin price have been drop currently.
Actually not problem for ethereum raise to new all time high price depend bitcoin keep stable and increasing the new higher price, but if bitcoin higher price have been over I don't sure how many years need for ethereum hit new ath around $5000 if bitcoin can't get up to higher price.
