I can't close my mind about that expectation. Somehow we do believed that it will come up on that price of course on that time bitcoin price is not the same as what its price today.

from the way it is! i would say that eth could be likely to be BTC in the future, look at the new coin created today it was on the ETH blockchain.. mostly of newly created coin is using eth as a blockchain.

very difficult to achieve bitcoin price because the first coin is bitcoin. everyone is more familiar with bitcoin than eth.

This is really far fetched nevertheless i don't want to doubt the fact that ETH cannot rise to the level of BTC at the moment because of the high volatility and also the way crypto currencies fluctuate easily. Ethereum is the most popular altcoin and the one which is likely used by several platforms and investors but the one thing that we have to know is that the price of bitcoin seems to affects most coins on the market and one of them is Ethereum. This implies that the price of ethereum is determined by bitcoin in one way or another. If that is so then we know that ethereum may rise up to the level of bitcoin currently but bitcoin also will increase as ethereum has increased. Ethereum may rise but it will never valued the same as bitcoin.

Because everything will pump with time. Btc rise up, and make eth rise up too.

You have a point but with the popularity, i don't think Ethereum holds the first position. Bitcoin, over the past few years have gained much popularity and trust of the people. You cannot mention cryptocurrency without giving reference to Bitcoin.
In the cryptocurrency world, everything is possible but for Ethereum to rise and surpass the all time $20K record of Bitcoin, will take tremendous effort from Ethereum. Perhaps, Bitcoin will halt its development for a while Ethereum builts its blockchain 8)

It will take more years for ethereum before reaching bitcoin price. It isn't easy to jump from less than 1k price to 10 k or let say 20 k price. Huge development to finish before achieving that price. Good luck to ethereum team.

In my perceptions it wouldn't be like bitcoin as a matter of fact ethereum dimension is not the same as bitcoin so basically it will not be like bitcoin. The price is not the same as the purpose is not too but same in common about coin in crypto world.

Ethereum has unlimited range of capabilities and unlimited potential to rise in price and market cap. However, it won't happen now, so it will be in the future as the groundwork for it boom it still being done. For it to rise like Bitcoin, I think there are a lot of stuffs that need to be put in place for that to happen.

No. Because otherwise is under the control of btc even this altcoin is doing great in the market still it has no power to set froee from the control of btc in the market.

Both coins seems to have gained much popularity and acceptance in the past few years but Bitcoin is certainly on top of the league in crypto currencies. Hopefully in the near future, Ethereum can rise to 10k, 20k or more and not withstanding the fact that a lot of crypto adopters and investors are shifting their attention to Altcoins, but I think ethereum could rise to be the same as Bitcoin or even better than it.

Nope it would not reach the price of bitcoin. Maybe someday if bitcoin goes up to another price hike then ethereum will probably got the price of bitcoin now.

For me it will not reach that price because bitcoin is too far from ethereum. There is no one can reach the price of bitcoin as the same. Bitcoin will always go as the first coin that have high price in crypto.

I think not because the difference in the number of coins that exist is very different. btc has a small amount of coin than eth so btc will experience an excellent price increase this year.

Yes that can happen but it would take a long time. Considering how Ethereum seems to be in terms of percentage I think it can experience booms in price just like Btc did.

I sure can gan. if I look and I notice every bitcoin price rises and soars high the etherium price will go up as well and soar. even other cryiptocurrency will also soar. as if bitcoin were the super of all cryiptocurrency

There is clear possibility for ethereum to reach the current price of bitcoin but it will consumes more time before it will happen. We can probably see ethereum price like bitcoin in more years from now.

I also agree with you. to be able to occupy the position of the bitcoin I think is very difficult. However with etherium continues to grow well, it costs also continue to rise, continued to show its existence, it has already become the good news and the next will be successful etherium.

to be able to have the same price with bitcoin it might take quite a long time since both have the surplus of each. likely to end until 2018 etherium price could reach $1500-2000. fingers crossed. :)

For Ethereum to rise like Bitcoin then it will mean that it needs to get out of the dominance of bitcoin which i don't see that happening even within this year if you study the trend of the cryptocturrencies on major exchanges such as kucoin, binance, coinbene, ether delta etc. You will realise that bitcoin is bigger than ethereum more than six times and here is the case that ETH is under the dominance of BTC, so how then will it rise like bitcoin. It will certainly be under bitcoin unless cryptopreneurs decide to hold ethereum and avoid the use of ethereum in almost every transaction that goes on the cryptomarket and platforms.

Many crypto enthusiasts believe Bitcoin has already make is history and gain it's popularity why Ethereum is just coming up and has a lot of force towards achieving a high price potential. Since bitcoin has more supporters and the most famous cryptocurrency then it will be more valuable than ethereum but we don't know for sure if ethereum would be able to take bitcoin's reign as king of cryptocurrency as the cryptocurrency industry is just in its infancy compared to other markets. We know that ethereum and bitcoin are use as base coin in trading and many people are holding it for long term so as bitcoin rise, ethereum would rise as well.

The nature of the current market makes it quite harder to predict coin future price. Eth is a very promising coin and can hit the moon when the whole market begins to grow but I think it will take some time to see its value goes as higher as $5000 and above

The vision of Ethereum is an unstoppable decentralised computer, a platform that is showing the value of smart contracts on a public ledger (blockchain).
While all the blockchains are processing codes and can be used to store any kind of data, in Ethereum you can build any decentralised application you want because it does not rely in any central server.
In any case, my personal opinion is that Ethereum’s future is bright even if we do not reach certain capitalizations within a year.

Because as we observed recently Ethereum popularity are increasing greatly and also its demand were getting bigger and bigger that some exchanger websites now are requiring ethereum as payment of trading online transaction.

Eth is a very good coin with a whole lot ofor potential. I personally did not see Eth fallen like it has currently happened but nevertheless, I see Eth hitting the moon in less than 2 years. I think it can be the 2nd coin in terms of value in just 2 years time
