Anybody with a concrete idea when Ethereum 2.0 will launch

Honestly, i am getting frustrated and furious with the high gas fees in the ethereum platforms. if something is not seriously done about it. Ethereum will definitely fall. i strongly believed this is the main reason why ethereum has not make any serious move above 2000usd. and untill that problem is been resolved, ethereum will not pass the 2000usd price mark.
i am asking here if there anyone with a concrete idea of when the long awaiting Ethereum 2.0 will kickoff.

You are right. There are no changes at all. Not sure if even Ethereum 2.0 will fix the current problem in gas fees. It is crazy if we look at the price of ETH gas now. I don't know why ETH gas can be like that. If it is not fixed soon, I doubt when we transfer a coin, the gas fee is more expensive than the value of the token to send itself.

Ethereum miners are making a killing with this crazily high gas fees. They are taking the profit and capital of small investors away, making DEX unattractive for average traders. Heard that it was supposed to be this February but I don't even think that the immediate launch of ETH 2.0 will solve the issue because the migration is not going to be immediate but a gradual one provided this staking phase is successful.

Yes, we all here for the same problem, Actually I don't care about Ethereum 2.0. Or in the future will come Ethereum 3.0, 4.0, or whatever.  If Ethereum doesn't fix their problem regarding gas fee I will leave it

I understand that all of us who are somehow involved with Ethereum and the many projects using it are all kind of frustrated and disappointed with the slow developments surrounding the supposed "savior of high fees" Ethereum 2.0 rollout. As of now, nothing significant has changed and in fact the gas fees are even rising some more. I for one is not able to move some of my tokens because the high fees almost gobble up any possible profits...what a big shame. Ethereum is slowly becoming like an elephant in the room. And it is time that we should send this strong message of disgust to people behind Ethereum.

Dont know when ethereum 2.0 will fully work and whether it is able to somehow reduce gas prices in this network, but so far the commissions are simply extortionate, they kill all small investors, since only large market players are able to pay $ 80-150 per transaction , and they continue to grow with the price of eth. The same question that I've been asking myself for weeks. When?. I have read many articles and in none have I obtained precise information about when Ethereum 2.0 will be released. In some it said that in December 2020, in others that in February... But for now nothing, I'll keep looking to see if I'm lucky and the information is correct.

I do agree with you that Ethereum would be usable if they allow the price to go beyond $2k, why do I need to pay $150 for $100 transaction. If there is no clear path to when this Ethereum 2.0 would be launched then I expect, Ethereum not to be relevant again in a year's time because people and developers would have moved to another protocol and there are many of them out there now, Solano, Polkadot, Binance chain, Avalanche etc

Development of Ethereum 2.0 is very difficult and Devs don't know itself, when it will be launched. News sites have estimates where Vitalik gave a date but I don't know if we can trust it. Most likely it will be delayed again.

Perhaps the Ethereum #DevelopmentTeam  will surprise us in the near future and release an update that will make fees cheap.  Perhaps this is not as quick to do as many people want.

I think the gas fee is not the problem of ethereum but the 2.0 itself. It is because of taking it too long to be released while competitors like eos or tron are taking it as an advantage.

As we already know, Ethereum 2.0 is not fully operational because it still requires several stages, the tokens and ether that we have are still on the same network and have not been connected to the BC network, if the two networks are parallel then we can see low gas costs.
