Can Ethereum rise like Bitcoin?

I think in 2 years we all regret the cheap price of eth at this moment 
Because everything will pump with time. Btc rise up, and make eth rise up too.
Many people will want to invest, maybe we all can have a crypto credit card and make shop with it.

This is really far fetched nevertheless i don't want to doubt the fact that ETH cannot rise to the level of BTC at the moment because of the high volatility and also the way crypto currencies fluctuate easily. Ethereum is the most popular altcoin and the one which is likely used by several platforms and investors but the one thing that we have to know is that the price of bitcoin seems to affects most coins on the market and one of them is Ethereum. This implies that the price of ethereum is determined by bitcoin in one way or another. If that is so then we know that ethereum may rise up to the level of bitcoin currently but bitcoin also will increase as ethereum has increased. Ethereum may rise but it will never valued the same as bitcoin.

You have a point but with the popularity, i don't think Ethereum holds the first position. Bitcoin, over the past few years have gained much popularity and trust of the people. You cannot mention cryptocurrency without giving reference to Bitcoin.
In the cryptocurrency world, everything is possible but for Ethereum to rise and surpass the all time $20K record of Bitcoin, will take tremendous effort from Ethereum. Perhaps, Bitcoin will halt its development for a while Ethereum builts its blockchain

It will take more years for ethereum before reaching bitcoin price. It isn't easy to jump from  less than 1k price to 10 k or let say 20 k price. Huge development to finish before achieving that price. Good luck to ethereum team.

In my perceptions it wouldn't be like bitcoin as a matter of fact ethereum dimension is not the same as bitcoin so basically it will not be like bitcoin. The price is not the same as the purpose is not too but same in common about coin in crypto world.

Ethereum has unlimited range of capabilities and unlimited potential to rise in price and market cap. However, it won't happen now, so it will be in the future as the groundwork for it boom it still being done. For it to rise like Bitcoin, I think there are a lot of stuffs that need to be put in place for that to happen.

No. Because otherwise is under the control of btc even this altcoin is doing great in the market still it has no power to set froee from the control of btc in the market.

Both coins seems to have gained much popularity and acceptance in the past few years but Bitcoin is certainly on top of the league in crypto currencies. Hopefully in the near future, Ethereum can rise to 10k, 20k or more and not withstanding the fact that a lot of crypto adopters and investors are shifting their attention to Altcoins, but I think ethereum could rise to be the same as Bitcoin or even better than it.

Nope it would not reach the price of bitcoin. Maybe someday if bitcoin goes up to another price hike then ethereum will probably got the price of bitcoin now.

For me it will not reach that price because bitcoin is too far from ethereum. There is no one can reach the price of bitcoin as the same. Bitcoin will always go as the first coin that have high price in crypto.

I think not because the difference in the number of coins that exist is very different. btc has a small amount of coin than eth so btc will experience an excellent price increase this year.

Yes that can happen but it would take a long time. Considering how Ethereum seems to be in terms of percentage I think it can experience booms in price just like Btc did.
