I also do not understand why everyone sells ETH. ETH is excellent for long-term investments and every year eth prices are experiencing a huge price increase.

Talking of Ethereum losing its popularity?, then the answer is no. Remember, the Ethereum Blockchain serves as a host of thousands of alt coins out there and such cannot lose its popularity just like that. It is still the direct competitor of Bitcoin in terms of market cap. Prices go up, prices go down, this happens to all cryptocurrencies. Just make sure you don't panic sell in these times of crypto bear market.

Remember that fake news is faster than the truth. People will easily accept the fake news than the truth. People will absolutely not sell their total ethereum because investors knew it is strong to hold for a long. Maybe partial of their holdings ethereum. maybe people are selling ethereum in order to cut their loss because the market value of ethereum is still dropping.

Because people affected easily by the market situations. People's mind can easily to change specially in terms of profit and lose. Most probably they sell it while it wasn't yet totally crash in that matter they can buy it again when the price touch down into the deeply crash.

You did not include the most practical reason why people are selling their altcoins or eth, they need money as simple as that although some are panick sellers.

its quite unfortunate when i see people selling their ETH. Seems they are feared of what happens next to the small amount they have in their wallet when the prices sinks again.

most likely they will be afraid of losing profits when the price of ethereum falls. so they have sold it now.

for us will not sell it when the price falls, I think I better continue to survive next time with waiting for higher prices.
