Will Ethereum do better than bitcoin this year??

Ethereum is one of the altcoins tipped to do better than bitcoin this year. However, studying the market trend,  it could be seen that all altcoins, Ethereum inclusive, values are influenced by bitcoin value such that as bitcoin falls, they all fall. The question now is, do you still think Ethereum will do better than bitcoin this year??

Most probably ethereum will do better this year and next years however I can't say that it will do better than bitcoin. Ethereum rising like a star that looks like it is unstoppable with bitcoin. Pretty sure it will do better things this year progressive.

I think you have technically giving the answer, however, ETH will not do better than bitcoin this year 2018. Like you mentioned, the fall of bitcoin bring about other cryptos fall so, i think that this situation may definitely remain even beyond 2018.

Considering the situation of market price of ethereum and bitcoin now still bitcoin did not surrender the flag to any alts. It means even ethereum will double time the effort still bitcoin will remain reigning in crypto.

I agree ethereum will do better than bitcoin but it is all about ERC-20 TOKEN beyond that no more. I would like to justify my opinion ethereum is a wallet for all new coins while bitcoin is not.

I like eth personally and I believe it will become more greater than what it has in this present situation but i don't think it will perform better than bitcoin in this year. It is too short to expect high on this altcoin.

Lol, Ethereum doing better than bitcoin in what sense. is it in value or in price. Well i don't see any of them happening because BTC has trememdous effects on ETH and so whatever happens to BTC on the market happens to ETH and so i don't know how ETH is going to do better than BTC looking at the fact that whenever BTC goes down in the market ETH also goes down significantly. BTC will always surpass all cryptocurrencies in the crytpomarket.

if I think ethereum and bitcoin are also very good that we use, but if price issue, I think ethereum will not be able to match the bitcoin price. but most likely too, but it also requires a long process.

We do not know, only the time can tell because both are doing better. Bitcoin is holding the chain to direct the price of every altcoin while eth has the strength to lessen the power of bitcoin.

I think it is impossible because there is still Bitcoin cash that has good and stable price. bitcoin is the first coin marketed for investment and eth takes technology from bitcoin.

eth will do better this year, considering it usage and scalability. just that it need solid security improvement unlike bitcoin that has a good and improve security. Apart from that eth has proven to be more useful and will definite rise.

I think bitcoin and ethereum will do better. It is not the same platform so simply they have specific field in crypto to dominate in the area.

Of course Ethereum could do better than Bitcoin. Considering how the crypto community are enthused of the existence of Ethereum, its use and popularity is like a thunderstorm; moving very fast. So I surely anticipate that Ethereum will rise higher in percentage than Bitcoin

I think that can be really because if viewed from the market eth price is much more stable than bitcoin prices.
rising and falling eth value can still be estimated so that it still gets a profit even though the price drops.
