It depends on what kind of altcoins you are holding. For me if the tokens/coins that I have has a future I will choose to hold it that selling it the the lower price.

Basically you should not sell your coins in the moment of worse scenario of crypto. You should hold a little more time to possibly obtain good profit. Don't rush your coin in to exchange you should think very well before you do it.

I participate in so many bounties and at the end I make sure that I HODL for sometime like a month or two and and have a better token price and then exchange for ETH

I believe that coins received for participating in bounty campaigns should be sold, at least half of them, either immediately on the first listing to the exchanges or as soon as the price rises more or less. From my experience I know that there are such coins that make the pump only once, and if you do not sell them then in the future such a price will not repeat and you will be forced to sell it for a penny.

Business strategies depends on various factors and the decisions that we make is individualistic. After a bounty campaign some bounty hunters will decide to hold their tokens wait for the tokens to go on exchange see the price and analyse the potential of that token rising again. If after observation they realize that the tokens ain't giong much further then they will sell it but if the realise that they project is promising and the tokens will be needed i abudndance some time to come then they will hold and trade with it.
Whatever be the case it is better to sell tokens for Ethereum other than BTC.

Number 1. Hold your token until become valuable if there is clear potential on it. Don't rush to sell because it will be your lose and not the lose of others. Keep waiting until you come up to your desire price.

Most bounty and airdrop tokens have very little value when you receive them and then they drop further.

Best way is to know the potential of a coin before selling it and for me I choose eth because it has a lower fee compare to btc.

i think you should hold a little while and also check the exchange where it's listed to know when a bump and dump and happen so you sell at a good price.
However, you should do your research and use your initiative to choose coin for a long term hodl. Generally do not sell all your coin.
it is better you keep 1% or less of all coin you have then selling all at once.

for dihold I will choose BTC as there will be a peak of the price, which usually happens at the end of the year.

If we get a token the best and all I do is store tokens until the price is high and we can get a lot of advantages than we sell at a very bad price and we can regret it.
