Money is good but it depends on how you see the whole picture and how you plan to acquire it that makes it evil or good in your favour. Whoever says money is the root of all evil is not making complete sense.

For me, it's NO, the real root of evil is the person who use money to control other people and rules. Money is a necessity, we just need to use it wise and use it properly, I believe that money can bring happiness to person but sometimes people just let money control their personality which leads to evil.

You just need to be satisfied for what you have up to now, just be thankful when your money grows and don't change.

Two years ago I was to write an essay about the roots and the nature of all evil. Based on some of my favourtite philosophers (Like Socrates and Hobbes) I made a thesis that the evilness was a part of humanity since day one and it is dependant on the person, who does something bad. Like you said, money can be used properly and bring happiness to lives, but it's not always the case. Anyway, thank you for posting this. It's always nice to compare your opinions with others

In my opinion, money is only a goal. While the root cause of crime is how each individual can control his desires. So that evil happens because of his own personal nature.
