Monero vs other private coins.
« on: January 23, 2018, 09:05:41 PM »
Until now, Monero is by far the most popular private coin.
But what do you think of coins such as Sumo, Specter, Verge, Nav, PIVX and Deep onion?
Does one of these have the potential to become as big as Monero.

Your list is definitely missing ZCash, which also is heavily focussed on anonymity and privacy.

Verge has good potential like Monero. This coin is waiting to be exploited and arranged to reach a higher point. This coin called XVG offers cheap prices for investors. But if you want to invest in this coin, patience is the key to success in becoming a long-term investor.

Among other coins, I think Verge has more opportunities to ride like Monero. Verge has strong potential and is just waiting to be exploited. Verge offers a very light entry point for anyone who wants to invest in verse.

If Monero and XVG would do ICO now, I would choose XVG.

Monero WAS good. Its community waited so much for them to implement some new great features out of the box, but it didn't happen enough.

Although there are so many profitable coins but we should not under estimate also Monero's potential to rise because this is also consider as one of the most profitable crypto currency investment.

Monero is cryptographically private by default, utilizing several privacy features most prominently being stealth addresses and ring confidential transactions (RingCT). Due to Monero’s cryptographic privacy its features of untraceability and unlinkability coins avoid the potential of being tainted by deprecating transaction history. There is no risk of blacklisting nor debasing of Monero, therefore all coins are worth the same value and are mutually interchangeable. Monero is truly decentralized and led by volunteer work. Developers are funded by user contribution through the Forum Funding System. Development decisions are open to public discussion, and developer meeting logs are published in their entirety for all to read. The Monero Project’s source code and all changes are available on the official Monero GitHub.

Most of the coins you listed have great potential to rise in the future even as big as Monero. Verge for instance is a very promising coin .

Like the case of all altcoins wanting to defeat Bitcoin = Impossible.
The newcomer coin wants to defeat Monero in terms of privacy so it's very difficult to do and I'm sure because this is my experience with seeing the history of Monero.
