I don't think Bitcoin can be compared to any other cryptocurrency. litecoin is a popular currency, but not more popular than Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency market is constantly changing. I didn't think their is advantage of litecoin over bitcoin , litecoin is still a crypto currency like bitcoin . Bitcoin is still on number one in Crypto market . But litecoin is still available on cheap price so there is higher chance that it's price touch peak value soon as possible.

I think Bitcoin is still the King of crypto currency, So I don't agree with OP. Don't compare Bitcoin Vs litecoin. Because bitcoin is still the biggest. Litecoin is very potential coin, teh advantages of litecoin , I think You can see the progress of litecoin now.

Litecoin is a good coin, I like it for its speed and very low fees for transfers between wallets.  I often use Litecoin to transfer coins from one exchange to another.  It makes no sense to compare it with bitcoin.

Obviously everyone over here would recommend you to use bitcoin rather than using litecoin. Bitcoin has more people involved with it that means it is more backed up by the community than litecoin.The conception that somehow everytime Bitcoin goes up Litecoin will follow is a dangerous one. I think at some point this may stop happening and the people that has been racking up a ton of cheap Litecoin waiting for that pump might be left out of the market.
