I see that the DeFi section has been added to the Cryptocurrency Ecosystem,
I think NFT section is another great candidate.

First of all, the last thing I want to create is a FUD, however I am not feeling so positive these days.
I have been in this market since late 2017. So many people around me have told me that cryptos is the next dot-com bubble.
I have been always trying to keep calm, however the fall that is happening since 6th is making me wanna throw up. - I am also in a long position that's why I am more scared -

Is there any reason why you don't think that this is not a dotcom bubble? I didn't experience the dotcom bubble - I was a child, I only know from what I read -, if there is anyone who directly experienced those times that would be great for us to listen out.

Sorting Box / Be careful with Telegram Group Fake Admins
« on: August 05, 2018, 11:52:06 PM »
If you are investing in ICOs or just even attending airdrops, please be careful with telegram direct messages.
When you join a telegram group, a fake account with the same name and picture of the group admin might send you a message, this can only be a friendly welcoming message.
These fake admins can ask give you some ETH addresses to send your money, to buy the ICO tokens or only to donate airdrops, or even your MEW private key...

*2 days ago, I joined bitfinex telegram to ask some questions. I directly got a dm from an admin looking scam account, it was only a welcoming message. Reported immediately

General Discussion / What do you think about Twitch?
« on: July 30, 2018, 11:40:50 PM »
I have heard so many people earning good amounts of money there.
What do you think? Do you have any friends who earn anything over there...

I am wondering what percentage is your loss guys.
I lost half of my BTC thanks to the altcoins...

Hey everyone, what are your opinions about MAN?
It is one of my favorites, I really have faith in it. Waiting for December 2018 events

I have been attending airdrops for a long time. I have also been attending to the bounties but not really committed. Actually I am still suspicious if I will get enough coins from bounties.

How much did you earn from bounties (coins that are already on exchanges, not in ICO state)
I read people spending 8-9 hours a day for these bounties. I am not currently working so I also have time for that...
Is it really worth it?

And for the earnings, if you guys write down how much you earned from which type of bounty campaign that would also be a really valuable information.
I think there are lots of people asking these questions too...

PS: If you guys write down your earning with the amount of followers you have ex: FB earning (4000 followers), that would be more than perfect!

Hello everyone,
We see tons of crypto gurus nowadays, most of them gained thousands of followers during the bull seasons. We all know that at the bull season it is not so hard to predict some coins which have more than x2 potential...

Even though there are really special and great traders around Twitter, we have a lot of "SHILLERS" hanging around too. Most of the have more than 10k followers which make them seem really trustable. I just want to share this twitter account I found 2 days ago (I have nothing to do with this account - don't know who is in charge of it)

When trading we can of course get opinions also from these shillers but these coins can be really risky too (I got one shilled coin, nicely traded and made x2, but I was lucky...)

Cryptocurrency discussions / Some Security Tips
« on: July 16, 2018, 07:04:48 PM »
Hello everyone,
I had tons of security problems when I was a beginner. One of my exchanges got hacked, lost my 2FA code - my phone broke down etc. etc...
I want to write down some of the security stuff I use for my cryptos!
If any of you have corrections, additions or other suggestions to my safety actions, would love to hear them.

1- Never ever use an exchange without 2FA: Even the hardest passwords can get hacked easily. If you don't use 2FA you can get hacked... Yep I got hacked - my Bibox account, took hours to block the account, half of my earnings were lost. (it wasn't more than 50$, thank god...)

2- Never ever use the same password for different accounts.
Yep, I got hacked! Why? I was applying for several airdrops, you guys know that nowadays some of them require signing up to their websites. And what have I done? I used the same password and email I used for the Bibox exchange.

3- Writing down your password rather than saving them on your computer is a better idea. I have a small notebook which I keep my passwords.
I also have a word document which I save some of my private keys, it is a locked document - not so safe I know...

4- Always keep your 2FA code or barcode before scanning. If your phone breaks down, you will loose all your 2FAs... It can take 2-3 weeks to activate your exchange accounts.

5- MEW, IDEX login: I never copy and paste my private keys to login these wallets. I prefer Metamask login, not 100% secure but much better.

6- My browser preference: I don't like chrome very much. I prefer to use Brave browser to access my accounts. *It doesn't support Binance. Brave also has Metamask extension.
AND A GREAT UPDATE: Brave has it's own BAT wallet which ables you to earn while you surf. Firefox is my second choice.

7- Phising sites: I always bookmark my exchanges. Also before clicking the email links, I always check the url, I never click if it is not a "HTTPS". I also use WOT extension on Chrome to check if the link is safe or not...

8- KYC issue: I prefer not to do KYC for airdrops or bounties. If their database gets hacked, your passport can end up in Dark web. For exchanges, I always try to use my Driving License instead of my passport for KYC (some of them only accepts passport :/ )

9- For airdrops I use another email. Don't want my original email get spam mails and I want my exchange email to be safe.

These are the ones I remember so far...
Safe days you guys!

Hello everyone,
I didn`t attend any signature campaigns on Altcoinstalks. What I wonder is does Altcoinstalks pay as much as Bitcointalk do?
I don`t mean as the member level, I wonder if the budget is really different or not?
Thanks for this great forum btw. It is nice to have a polite and friendly forum...

Sorting Box / Twitter Retweet Issue for Bounties
« on: June 12, 2018, 01:20:05 PM »
I have been attending bounties for a long time but still I have a huge beginner question.
When a bounty asks for you to retweet and wants the retweet link how do you manage it.

When you retweet a tweet there is no unique url displayed for your username, instead you are directed to the retweeted accounts page.
If you retweet with a quote yes you get a unique url but the retweet doesnt look like a retweet...
I see different types of retweets in the forums... Which one is the right one?

Other Popular Cryptos / Coins / Credits (CS) - Right time?
« on: June 07, 2018, 03:33:41 PM »
`Credits (CS) ICO was a huge success, and if its platform can deliver what it promises, it will indeed be a game changer.`
So yeah, mainnet is on the 30th of June.
Most of the coins that have mainnets at the end of this month is rising right now. Especially HPB growing steady...
However, CS is still crashing. There are tons of news about CS being a scam. What are your opinions? Do you think it is a game changer or just another whitepaper sales coin?
