My first crypto was XRP and it was back in December right before the pump. I watched it triple in value only to see it plunge back down in just a month. So i held because i thought it would recover again but to this day i'm still at a significant loss.

I use a ledger nano s and i like the new UI but unfortunately it doesn't support all my altcoins. But I'll have to look into those other wallets you mentioned. Thanks for the post!

Sorry, in advance but can anyone please explain to me the purpose of karma? Is this similar to merits on bct?

I know there's more you can do in crypto than just investing. There's bounties and airdrops you can participate in which can be a full time job.

5
I think they are similar because both are forums but altcointalks will be more centered around altcoins.

Hello, I just received a message from Altcoinstalks about the airdorp? Are the bounties still available for new applicants? Thanks.

I like Ethereum, fast transactions and low fees but could the planned move to POS kill the coin?

How do I keep my cryptocurrency safe?

The safest way to store your airdrops are hardware & cold storage wallets. These wallets store your coins offline, and therefore protect them from being hacked. There are a number of hardware wallets available. We would advise to use the Ledger Wallet Nano S or Trezor.

Not all cryptocurrency can be stored in hardware wallets. We advise you to store your crypto in wallets where you control your private keys. You don't want your free crypto to be stolen!

To avoid scams we have a few general rules:

    Never give your private keys!
Use 2 Factor Authenticator on your wallets
Be careful downloading wallets of smaller projects
Never click on links redirecting to wallets
Don’t use your main email address to apply for airdrops
Don’t re-use your passwords when you register on a website
Don’t send small amounts of crypto to receive your airdrop

The Ledger Nano S works very well! I bought two of them just in case one breaks and I use this in combination with MEW.

I owned few hundreds thousands!
And looking for its nearest future, how will Dogeoin going next? Will it be moving over 1$ the end of 2018?

I bought myself some Dogecoins last week! Even though it started out as a joke, i think it could grow exponentially as more places accept payments.
